*A slight chill crept up Birks back when he heard the voice come through the small tweeter on the center dash of the ship. Birk was happy that he had gotten it right, a slight sigh of relief escaped the boys lips. The feeling was short lived however as once the operator from the Exulant asked the question, Birk had another risky choice to make. Birk had never met any other Jedi outside of his parents, so coming up with a name to ask for would be impossible. At the same time, Birk could not just trust that the line was clear and start giving away clues that could alert possible Sith or Mandalorians as to the location of the Jedi base of operations. Birk keyed the Mic.
:: Well now that is the best news i have heard all day:: Birk commented over the line. ::My business here concerns...:: Birk released the key of the mic for a moment, still not sure the best way to go about answering the question without giving to much away to any unwanted listening ears. He keyed the Mic again.
:: My business here concerns Jedi matters. I wish to have a secure line to any Jedi who might be in the area:: Birk released the mic. ~Well that wasn't too bad i don't think~ Birk thought. ~i'd didn't give anything away really... Just that i am a person looking for a jedi... not a jedi looking for the Academy. I hope the Operator understand what i'm asking~

*There is a longer pause this time; evidently the officer is deciding how to handle the situation. Aboard the warship, it is decided to get the Academy to contact the trade vessel directly. Birk wouldn't know that the Jedi he spoke to just happened to be one at the Academy.*
::We shall contact the Jedi separately and then get them to contact you on a secure line routed through us. Standby.::
*Aboard the Exultant, a line is opened to the Jedi Academy on the planet below and they are notified of the situation.*

*Birk laughed to himself. How short sighted of him. It seemed that the recipient of his message is just as weary, if not more so of Birk than Birk was of him. In retrospect, of course that was the case. This reaction from the radio operator though was a clear sign that he had indeed contacted an ally and not an enemy trying to impersonate a friend. Sith or Madalorian would have continued to try and get the answers from Birk. The fact that did not happen allowed Birk to relax a little bit.
::Very good, thank you sir:: commented Birk before he leaned back in his chair. Now he waited for the Jedi to contact him.

*How quickly information can be gained and doubts can be squashed. When he started the conversation with the man claiming to be aboard the Republic ship, Birk had reservations about even continuing conversation let alone delving information. Especially information such as the fact he is a jedi AND had a good idea that the Jedi academy was on the surface of Telos. IF the man he had spoken too had been Sith for example and Birk had just given away information like that it would have surely meant his death as well as the death of many down on the surface of the planet. If in fact the people he was communication with were sith however, they would have been pressing for the information he had. What he was experiencing at the moment was the opposite. After being placed on hold for a few moments a new voice came through. The man sounded older a bit weathered and once again only spoke long enough to put Birk on hold again. Surely these were no Sith. Birks shoulders slumped a tab in his seat as he reached a rather comfortable state of relaxation. He felt as if a hundred bricks had just been lifted off his shoulders. It took a bit longer this time before the Jedi came back to Birk over the Radio, this time it was a Female. She introduced herself as Master Shim and straightaway Birk felt like he had heard that name before. Perhaps he had heard it come up in conversation between his parents before. If that was true, then this Master Shim may have known Birks parents before they went into exile. Birk Keyed the Mic.*
::Yes hello Master Shim. I must apologize for the need to hide my intentions up to this point but i could not risk the lives of either myself or any one on the surface of Telos should Sith or Mandalorian ears hear what follows.:: *Birk let go of the Mic key for a moment and took a breath, the time had come to trust his feelings and that he had done all he could to ensure he was doing the right thing here. He re-Keyed the Mic.*
::My name is Birk Snowshadow. My Parents were two Self-Exiled Jedi named Boris and Asuka Snowshadow. I come from Alderaan, buying my way out from the Sith occupation with this trade vessel. I am not an official Jedi though my parents taught me the ways of Jedi since i was born. I come here, where my Father said i should go should he fall in battle, to join the official ranks of Jedi.:: * Birk released the PTT button on the Mic and sighed out heavily, a mouthful of information for sure and now all he could do was wait for Master Shim to respond*

*It wasn't long before a voice could be heard from the other end, and I just take in what is spoken. As Birk discusses the need to be brief with information, I nod, which he wouldn't necessarily see. I put my hand to my chin as he finishes the first wave of words. Then there is a short break, which towards the end, I am ready to say something along the lines of, 'I understand,' when Birk formally introduces himself.*
~Birk Snowshadow? Snowshadow...that name sounds familiar.~
*Returning after that brief thought-bubble, I continue to listen. Luckily, just in time, since he mentions his parents' names.*
~Of course...Boris and Asuka.~
*Listening on, Birk reaches the end of his message. Clicking the microphone button, I say*
::Its good that you got out of the Sith occupation. I remember your parents from when they were in the Order years back. I hope you understand our need for secrecy as to our location, even though this is a secure line. Which planetary system are you located?::
~Even though he might be in this system, I must be careful to not disclose any information. Once I find out where he is, I can ask my colleagues what we should do. The Order has lasted as long as its lasted, because each member considers how one decision affects the whole.~

* Birk was happy to know that Master Shim understood the situation. He was also excited to know he had indeed found the correct planet. Minimum time spend searching for the starting point means getting to training and thus, more time spent helping others. Birk Keyed the mic.*
::Thank you Master Shim, yes i understand. I am currently in a holding pattern orbiting the planet Telos four of the Telos System.:: he finished, releasing the key of the mic. Birk gazed down at the planet, knowing now that down there somewhere was someone who knew of his parents before they went into exile. Birk had yet to meet anyone like that. It was a comforting feeling to the boy.

~So he's practically here, but I'd first like to meet him or at least have someone meet him before bringing him here. I'll ask Vrook what he thinks.~
::I'm going to place you on hold for a moment. I'll be right back.::
*I click the microphone off for a brief time, as I turn to Vrook.*

*Birk nodded to himself as Master Shim explained that she was placing Birk on hold for a little bit. This was completely understandable. The Jedi on Telos were just as if not even mroe weary of Birk as Birk was of them. This was more proof to the boy that his fathers instructions were accurate and up to date. Birk had found where he needed to be. Birk crossed his legs in the chair and with his hands in his lap gently gripping his crossed shins be began to meditate. Meditation was Important to Birk not just for strengthening his connection to the force but also to help keep the mind at ease. He had, even for a moment, doubted both his father and the jedi he had come in-contact with today. This was inexcusable and Birk would need to Meditate for a while to help purge his mind of the doubt and negative karma that it created. He would continue to Meditate until contacted further by the Jedi*

*I walk back to my terminal and put the head-set back on and activate the microphone.*

* An audible click from the speaker of the radio disrupts the stillness of the cockpit that Birk was sitting in, waking him from his meditation. Birk opened his eyes as he listened to what Master Shim had to say. At first he didn't know what to make of her request to meet at Citadel Station, he had never heard of such a place. A little investigation into the local sky routes of the Area surrounding Telos informed Birk that the Citadel station was in fact the massive space station that loomed in between himself and Telos. He placed the small notebook back down in its place and Keyed the Mic on his transmitter.*
::Yes of course, that would be just fine. I am looking out my pilots window right now and can see the station quite clearly. Shouldn't take me but a few minuets to reach it. It looks quite large, is there an area in particular you would like me to meet you at Master Shim?:: he asked before releasing the key on his Transmitter.

*I listen to Birk's reply, and nod even though he wouldn't be able to see it.*
~Hmm...where should we meet...would Cantina be a bit risky? It would be a better place to meet and talk, and less likely to draw attention.~, I thought to myself.
*Clicking the microphone on, I say*
"How about we meet in the Cantina," I suggest. "I should be there within twenty minutes."
*I may be able to get there quicker, but its better to give a slightly wider window and be early to within than to be late.*
*I click the microphone off, and wait for a reply.*

* a part of Birk's soul perked up at the mention of Cantina. Birk was a frequent patron to the various Cantinas on Alderaan and Aldera in particular. He was not a drunk per say though he very much enjoyed a few drinks, the socialization and atmosphere that was involved in the cantina scene of his home planet. Birk wondered if the same vibe was felt else where in the universe at the different cantinas of other worlds. A cantina would be the perfect place for Birk to meet someone new like this. Not just because of the fact it would be a much safer place to converse just because of the noise factor but also because it is the on place that Birk assumed he would feel the most comfortable in. There were just a few problems though... Birk keyed the Mic.
::Thank Master shim, the cantina would work beautifully. Is there a particular cantina you suggest? also, how will i know how to find you amongst the other patrons?:: Birk asked before releasing the PTT button. As Birk released the Button on the mic another thought came to him. An oversight he could not believe he had forgotten to answer. Birk quickly Keyed the Mic again. "Before you answer that question Master Shim, i have more information that may alter our plan here. During a Pit stop on Coruscant we picked up a stray stowaway. She claims to be in search of the Jedi academy just as i am. I know i am not an expert on judging people but there is something about this woman that tells me she is honest. Of course any judgment will be up to you but you should know that she will be with me. I apologize for not mentioning this sooner. I i let my own anxiousness and excitement inter-fear with my judgment. Something i am usually much better at" Birk let go of the PTT once again and waited for what Master shim had to say

(Many apologies for this taking so long)
*I listen to Birk's reply and am about to click the microphone to give instructions on how to get to the Cantina, when he adds another short post-script. I nod as I take in what he says. After a short pause, I smile and click the mic-button.*
"Don't fret about the additional member of your party. Based on what you said, it would be relevant for me to meet her as well. We can discuss when we meet up the details. I have blonde hair, and my saber will most likely be concealed, but my robes will be easiest to see. The Cantina is located in Entertainment Module zero-eight-one. Its not far from the main docking module, one-twenty-six if my memory serves me correctly. Is there anything else that you need to know before we meet up?"
*I click the mic-button down as I wait for a reply.*
~I want to make sure that he asks any last minute questions before I meet him at the Cantina.~

*Birk was relieved that his failure to relay all the pertinent data initially did not end up being a huge problem. He of course would beat himself up over it, the boy despised making mistakes like that and knew that if he didn't punish himself for it that he would just end up screwing up again. As Master Shim started to list a few of the details behind where they were to meet, Birk started to write down the important details.* "Understood. Docking module one twenty six. Cantina of Entertainment Module numbered zero eight one. We will be there as soon as we can." He commented. "The individual with me hides herself in some dark robes so i'm afraid i can not give you much detail about her. I have Maroon reddish hair that is quite long in a pony tail and i am wearing a green silk vest. I am sure we will stick out like a sore thumb." he explained. "Unless there is anymore information you have that would be necessary to meet at the cantina, i have no further questions. Anything else can be answered in person without fear of the line getting tapped" he explained. Birk released the button on the transmitter and waited for a response.

*I listen to Birk repeat the docking number, and cantina number, being that there are many docks, as well as cantinas. As Birk describes minorly his companion, and then details more so himself, I make mental notes. After he finishes, I click my mic-key.*
"Sounds like a plan. I'll see you as soon as I get there. If you get there before me, please find a table or booth, or I'll do the same if I get there first. No further information needed."
*I click the microphone off after I finish my statement. I wait for a moment to see if he has anything to add.*

*Azra steps into the cockpit behind Birk, her dark robes still concealing her face. She listens to the interaction between her new companion and the woman on the intercom, absorbing the information. She takes note of the numbers he writes down, just in case she needs to know them. She turns to Birk, and he catches the smallest flash of gold beneath her hood, possibly from her eyes.*
"I'm ready when you are." she says.

*Birk heard Azra walk into the cockpit as he and Tolaris Shim were conversing. For someone who was caught trespassing aboard the ship, she sure seemed to walk around as if she owned the place. The girl had refused to answer any questions when she was found and the fact was she that her refusal to even remove her hood so the crew could understand just who they were dealing with not only came across as rude to Birk but also raised concerns about trust. Still though, there was something about this person that Birk felt he could trust. A connection to a common vibe that Birk had not felt in many years now. Azra spoke and turned to Birk, revealing the flash of gold from underneath her hood. Birk passed it off as just Jewelery even though the flash did seem relatively high up in the darkness of the hood to be around the womans neck for a necklace. Birk keyed the Mic.*
"Understood, we will land aboard Citadel station and meet you as soon as possible. Thank you again Master Shim. Birk Snowshadow and unknown companion, out" *Responded Birk before ending the transmission and leaving the secured line. Birk turned to Azra.*
"I understand your devotion to keep your identity a secret, friend. I would not trust anyone until i arrived at the Academy myself in this day and age." *he commented before standing up and turning to leave the cockpit. Birk placed a hand gently on the woman shoulder, indicating that he was indeed friendly and as any friend would do reassuring her that whatever it was that she had gone through up to this point that it was past. The Jedi and perhaps even Birk himself would be there for the girl.* "I only hope you will be more open to Master Shim and the other Jedi than you have been aboard this ship" *he finished before walking out of the cockpit.*
"I will alert the pilot that we are ready for departure and give him the preferred docking module. we should be on our many momentarily" *Birk finished before closing the door to the cockpit behind him and heading out into the ship to find the pilot.*

*Azra sighed quietly, relieved that her companion seemed to understand her reservations about revealing her identity. She was caught off guard when he called her 'friend.' The people of Coruscant were not overly friendly compared to those on Alderaan, and she had forgotten what true kindness felt like. Even if he did not fully trust her, she appreciated his attempt to make her feel welcome.*
"I have my reasons for remaining anonymous. I will have no reservations with a Jedi Master."
*She kept her answer short and to the point, since her thick Alderaanian accent might give away details about her past. She flinched when he placed a hand on her shoulder. Azra had not had physical contact with another human being in over a year, and it struck her odd that this man was so willing to touch her without a thought. It was not necessarily a bad thing, simply... unexpected. She looked up into his eyes just briefly, curious about him. She felt a strange pang in her heart, and memories of Alderaan from a decade ago came flooding back into her mind. Memories of her, just a young child, in the mountains with her parents, playing with her little sister, going to school... She gasped softly and clutched at her heart, a frown of confusion forming on her face.*
~What the...? What was that?!"~
*He walked out of the cockpit, and she had no time to think on what happened, following behind him quickly.*
