*A Republic shuttle drops out of hyperspace carrying Masters Ell and Shim as well as Bastila, Bhob, and Ze. Ell takes a moment to look over the coordinates he had been given to the Jedi's new place of residence. He remembered where the Academy in the polar regions were. But it had been a long while since he made his way down there. Finally getting things settled, he descends the shuttle down to Telos atmosphere heading directly for the Jedi Academy on Telos.*

*A comm suddenly bleeps on the bridge of the Exultant, a direct comm message from Dantooine, a dark haired, dark bearded man in his mid twenties appears on the console*
"Hello, would this happen to be the fleet in orbit of Telos?"

*Aboard the Exultant, the origin of the transmission is verified; it was not reporting as a Republic military vessel but rather from the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine. Several minutes later, a reply transmission is opened.*

*After I left the hangar, I began to look for the ship (by dimensions) that would be the flagship for the fleet we would be taking to Alderaan. Confident that I see the correct ship, I fly towards it.*
*Within a couple of minutes, I'm to the docking bay, and I send the correct transponder codes. The Inexpugnable opens its Main Hangar doors and I fly it into the Main-Hangar Bay. Setting the ship on the floor, I power down the ship, and unbuckle my seat-belt. Standing up, I speak to both General Kaah and Knight Keto,*
"I'm going to the Main Bridge, and I welcome you both there too."
*Without further delay, I bow and leave the ship. I walk over to the Turbolift and wait for one to come down to this level.*

*I wait for the turbolift to come to the hangar level. Within moments, the doors open and I step in. Hitting the button for the Bridge level, it starts lifting me up. When I come to the bridge level, the doors open and I step out.*
*Officers are bustling back and forth, most likely from the decision to break up the fleet into the three smaller groups. I take a breath in and let it out before I see who appears to be the Captain of the Bridge.*
*She was human with black hair, and a darker complexion. Her stance was more of one that appears to be rigid about following rules. She turns as I walk towards her, and she smiles. I bow towards her, and she does the same.*
"Master Jedi. I've heard that you would be coming. My name is Captain Stryka Nyine. Feel free to call me Stryka. I've begun assembling our Fleet."
*I listen and nod before saying, with a small smile.*
"Very good, Stryka. How soon will you be ready for launch? We must be swift in our departure."
*Stryka nods and says,*
"We're waiting on one of the Hammerheads to give word to us."
*One of the Officers receives word from the last Hammerhead and turns to Stryka. She then turns to me and I nod to say*
"Let's head out."
*Stryka walks towards the front of the bridge with me in tow. As she walks she addresses her crew on the Bridge*
"Lightspeed on my mark."
*The crew readies and passes word to the Hammerheads to be ready. Stryka gives the final nod and says*
"Engage lightspeed...Now!"
*With this, one Inexpugnable and five Hammerheads leave Telos' orbit bound for Alderaan.*

*With minimal disruption to the regular traffic flows, the Inexpugnable-class fleet flagship, Exultant, and two Foray blockade runners exit hyperspace from Coruscant. The trio of ships merge with what was left of the fleet in orbit. Within the hour, a standard military shuttle exits the Exultant, heading for the polar regions.*

*After making a stop at Sernpidal, where Dantooine foodstuffs were traded for Sernpidal metals, and additional stops at Celanon and Serenno for other business deals or fuel, a mid-size freighter drops out of hyperspace into orbit around Telos. Aboard are one Duros pilot/captain, one Arkanian passenger, and one Human stowaway. The Duros had surprised Astefan by revealing on his own that he was already aware of the existence of the polar facility on Telos and that he had suspected that the Jedi were using it for something or other. Given that, Astefan figures it's ok for him to direct the Duros to drop him off at the Academy, rather than have him land at Citadel Station. That is, there is no point in trying to keep secret what the Duros already knows.
Upon being hailed, the Duros captain explains that he is there on business, with a Jedi Knight passenger. Astefan doesn't bother to correct him by explaining that he was never actually knighted. Perhaps he never would be knighted now, after being AWOL for so long. How long had it been since he had left after being enticed by that "internship" with the false Darth Revan, anyway? The Arkanian sighs.*
"I know you're trying to do the Jedi Order a favor by bringing me all the way here, but I'm not entirely convinced you're doing me a favor, buddy. Don't get me wrong - I really do appreciate the lift, but I'm not looking forward to meeting with the Council after my long absence."
<Ah. Council meetings very intimidating, yes? But you be all right, I think. They take Revan back after what he did, yes, so surely you can do no worse than him.>
"I guess so."
*Astefan isn't entirely convinced. The Council will probably welcome him back, sure, if not exactly with open arms. The Order may have gotten lax about a lot of things, but he expects that he will still have to work hard to repair his reputation with some of the Masters. Especially Vrook. Oh Force, Master Vrook. How he dreads that reunion.
The voice on the other end of the comm comes back on and informs them that they are cleared to proceed down to the planet, and the Duros guides his ship down towards the polar ice cap.*

"E chu ta!"
*He breaths a few deep breaths to help calm him. That was too close*
"Yeah. Go over there to the nav computer and plug in the coordinates for the Mustafar System. They should be in the main database. The computer will calculate the safest possible route and plot a course around stars and other planetary bodies. Then all you have to do is push this lever forward once we're clear of the planet's gravity well and hold on for dear life."

Post by Birk Snowshadow on Apr 12, 2011 22:37:46 GMT -5
*A small smuggler/trade ship drops of of hyperspace in orbit around Telos. It had taken the young man a full week, nearly twice as long as it should have to reach the outer rim world from Alderaan thanks in large part to an out dated hyper-drive that probably had not been serviced since it was initially installed in the tin can that the folks who the boy hired for passage called a space ship. You wouldn't want to tell the boy that though, he had no idea how long it should have taken as this trip was his first time he had ever set foot off of his home world. The boy stares out at the scene from the co-pilots chair.
"Well that's odd, it seems like Telos here has quite a guard floating around up here"Commented the pilot. "Those are Republic ships, so nothing to fear unless you are carrying something you shouldn't..." The pilot continued, glancing over at the boy and more importantly at the backpack that he had been holding white-knuckled for the majority of the weeks long trip. Not knowing the contents of the bag both intrigued and frightened the pilot. The last thing he needed was to get nabbed for smuggling contraband when the reward is just a few thousand credits that the boy had given him.
"Those are, republic ships?" The boy asked rhetorically. Indeed the ships were much different in appearance than the ones they had left behind at Alderaan that belonged to the sith occupation forces. So Naturally is was logical to assume they belonged to the Republic faction.
"Uh, yeah... that's what i said" The pilot answered the rhetorical question, clearly agitated that he was just being repeated. "There's about..." The pilot squints out the window counting all the ships he can see. "Theres 9 of them that i can see and what i can tell you about that is, we 'aint landing on this planet till and IF they give us the clearance to do so" The pilot continued.
"There are 17 Republic ships in orbit" the boy commented, glancing over to the pilot whose jaw dropped in disbelief. A clear [how the hell could this kid possibly know that] look was plastered from ear to ear on the pilots face. The boy took in the expression from a moment before looking back out at the ships. Considering his age and upbringing it really is no surprise that the boys Precognition skill were tuned. Still there was so much to learn and that is why he came here.
"I need you to leave the cockpit for a few moments" the boy commented, still gazing out the window. "Go make a nice warm drink for yourself. You have done exceptionally well to make it this far and i thank you." The boy asked. The Pilot was hesitant to oblige but to offer to take a break was not one the pilot would refuse besides, the boys business on Telos was the boys business. When the Republic ends up radioing in asking for identification and purpose, the pilot was sure he did not want to be a part of that. The boy listened as the pilot left the cockpit and latched the door closed. After waiting a few moments to ensure privacy the boy picked up the transmitter of the ships radio. The boy then referenced the list of frequencies that sat next to the radio and dialed in the correct one relating to republic block-aid and planetary access. The boy then took a breath, this was the first time he had done this since he father showed him how back on Alderaan a few years back. Considering what the boy was going to reveal and what he was going to request... screwing it up and transmitting to an enemy such as the sith would be devastating to the boy. The boy keyed the transmitter. "To whom it may concern, This is Birk Snowshadow transmitting from a trade ship that just exited hyperspace in orbit around Telos. I request a secure audio line to transmit possible self jeopardizing information please. how do you read?" Birk finished, releasing the key on the transmitter and awaiting for a reply

*Aboard the flagship of the fleet, Exultant, a junior officer working the clearance transmissions receives Birk's request. The message was odd as the ship's clearance codes were sufficient to let it down to Citadel Station with nothing more than a brief customs search on arrival. Best to send it to the flag officer if in doubt. Approximately 17 seconds after Birk sends his request, the officer replies.*
