*The Tracyn begins a slow movement forward, steadily increasing in speed toward the Republic blockade - heading directly for the lead ship- "Ecliptic." It's shields are down, though it's weapons appear to be powered up to a moderate defensive level. It continues on it's approach toward the Ecliptic, bearing left just slightly - giving enough berth between the two vessels to fit a small cruiser*
*Aboard the Tracyn Commander Helo Roegr stands beside Field Marshal Marcus Bralor. Roegr gives the commands to his bridge crew*
"Commander... we've just entered their weapons range."
"Steady. Enemy power distribution?"
"Their energy shields are up, weapons are charged. No energy build up in their weapon banks, however."
"Ray shields?"
"No sir. Energy only."
"Good. Prepare to launch the Drexl pod on my mark."
*The Tracyn drifts toward the Ecliptic, slowly but steadily*
"Commander, they have a weapon lock on us. Still no energy build up."
"Steady...."
"In range sir!"
"Fire! Shields up! Weapons to full!"
*In a flash, the Tracyn fires off a quick Ion Blast followed immediately by a modified assault pod - directly at the Ecliptic's main hangar. The pod streaks toward the hangar entrance - carrying the four members of Drexl Squad as well as Caius Ordo. A second later, the Tracyn's shields go up, and the ship's weapons are charged to full*
"A full volley at the lead vessel's main weapons array!"
*The Tracyn fires off round after round of blaster fire aimed at the Ecliptic's weapons array*

*As the heavy hitter capital ship opens full fire on the Republic force, Arligan nods to Cassus and shuts off the comms array. Tapping a few buttons, the Fury moves slowly at first, It's 21 Ion Drives acting in sync to propel the Fury directly behind the Tracyn, covered by it's engine baffles, but not close enough to get stung by them, the republic fleet ought not to have any idea the fury is there.*

*Aboard the Ecliptic Captain Cordé Valorum watches the Mandalorian ship approach. The bridge crew is silent, all waiting to see what the Mandalorians do*
"Status of the Mandalorian Warship?"
"Their shields are offline, their weapons are powered down to minimum, Captain."
"What are they playing at I wonder...? What about the other one, the Kandosii Dreadnought? Any sign of it?"
"No Captain. It is still cloaked, though we lost a reading on a shuttle at point seven-three-zero - just over the northern pole. We suspect it was heading to the Dreadnought. The Mandalorian ship is now within weapons range."
"Hold your fire... they might just be trying to spook us."
*Captain Valorum and the rest of the bridge crew watch tensely as the Mandalorian Warship drifts lazily closer and closer. The suspense was unnerving.
"Lock weapons on them, just in case. Let them know we're not playing."
*The Ecliptic locks it's primary weapons on the Tracyn as it closes in - finally the Mandalorian ship is directly beside the Ecliptic, and then there is a sudden flash as they open fire. Before Captain Valorum can even shout an order, the bridge lights flicker, and the consoles go dead for almost two full seconds. On the outside, decks of lighting flicker away, and the exterior running lights go dead for a brief moment. The shields fluctuate, right as the Mandalorian Assault Pod breaches the ship's hangar. Afterwards all systems return to normal as the emergency power is rerouted*
"Report!"
"They fired an Ion Pulse Cannon! Getting updated readings now!"
*Suddenly the bridge rocks back and forth, and Captain Valorum has to steady herself on a nearby bulkhead*
"Their weapons are at full, shields as well - they've opened fire!"
"Return fire and have all nearby vessels engage!"
*The Ecliptic (Hammerhead-class) returns fire at the Tracyn as two Hammerhead-class Captial Ships and three more Foray-class Blockade Runners break from the Blockade lines and streak toward the Tracyn*

*As the two gigantic capital ships begin to exchange fire, the Lightning Fury's cockpit is filled with light from the battle. Arligan looks at cassus with a sideward glance, wondering what his buir was thinking that he hadn't yet joined the battle, Arligan keeps the Fury between the Mandalorian capital ship and the attacking Republic ships, the small ship nothing near useful in this battle so far. Arligan waits for the word that the republic has launched it's starfighters, then the real work begins. He slowly thumbs open the second generator activation housing, waiting until precisely the right moment to double the Fury's power, it was a one time use. It had to be used at the right time.*

*The Tracyn is hit hard by the Ecliptic's blasts. On the bridge, Commander Roegr steadies himself as the ship rocks back and forth*
"Continue firing! Did Drexl Squad make it through?"
"Yes sir. I'm reading their assault pod within the enemies main hangar."
"Well at least that part is going according to plan. Where the hell is Vhon!?"
*With the Ecliptic and five other Republic ships converging on the Tracyn, they were heavily outgunned*
"Should I order the launch of our Basilisks, Commander?"
"No. We won't have enough time to recall them when it's time to hit hyperspace."
*Helo presses the comm button, opening up to all Mandalorian Ships*
"Parjai, we need immediate assistance! Respond!"

"Shields down to 80%, Captain. Structural integrity is holding, no serious damage."
"I'm surprised a little ship like that can hit as hard as it is. You have to give them points for courage. It's not everyday that you see a lone vessel open fire on a Republic fleet. Keep an eye out for that cloaked warship, it's big enough to cause some trouble. Have all other available ships stand by to engage it as soon as it appears."
"Yes Captain. Should I launch the fighters?"
"No reason to add insult to injury. Unless they launch their's we'll be fine. Plus, launching fighters will only give the cloaked mando warship vulnerable targets that can't see it."
*Now within range, the collective firepower of three Hammerhead Command Ships and three Foray-class Blockade Runners rain down onto the Tracyn*

*The Bridge of the Tracyn shakes violently as the six Republic warships open fire on the Mandalorian ship. The shields breach at one point, exposing the battle-hardened hull. But even that is unable to hold back the intensity of the Republic assault and several decks are ripped apart as blaster fire tears through the hull*
"Commander, Sections e'tad, sh'ehn, and she'cu are completely gone! Port shields down! All other shields at ten percent! No sign of the ----"
*The conduit in front of the deck officer explodes, sending a shower of electricity pulsating through his armor. It blasts him backwards and he collapsed to the deck of the bridge, smoking*
"Fierfek! Where the hell is Vhon!? If we still have weapons, I want every last blaster bolt aimed at that lead Republic ship. Roll down the windows and shoot it with your blaster if you have too, I don't care, just bring that shabla thing down!"

*The massive Mandalorian Warship Pajai shimmers into view directly above the majority of the attacking Republic fleet, as it decloaks, and sends a barrage of concussive missiles at the Republic ships. It then opens up with its 15 lower turbolaser batteries on the lead hammerhead-class cruisers.* *The Parjai then cuts primary engine power, and begins to drop down toward the Republic fleet, as the gravity from the moon takes effect. Before they go to far however, the thrusters ignite and main power is restored. The effect of the maneuver puts the Parjai right into the thick of the fighting, and did so with a speed not possible with the Kandosii-type dreadnaught's sluggish engines. The Engines power up, and the Parjai lurches forward, putting itself in the midst of the Republic forces. It then fires out in every direction at the Republic vessels with its 30 turbolasers.*

*The Ecliptic starts taking heavy fire from the wounded Mandalorian battleship, and shakes violently, but it is not until the Parjai joins in the fray that the Ecliptic starts to really hurt. On the bridge, Captain Valorum runs around in a hurry, analyzing multiple screens and ordering new tactical procedures*
"Captain, we've lost primary shields! Secondary online and holding, but I can't say for how long!"
"We're being pulverized out here. Deploy the fighters, see if they can't keep that Dreadnaught busy. Call in - "
"We just lost the Raven! The Venerable's shields are failing"
"Order them to fall back. Send word to the rest of the fleet. Engage at will. Fighters are free to engage."
*One Hammerhead explodes, unable to withstand the Parjai's onslaught. And a Blockade Runner is forced to retreat. Five more ships are drawn from the blockade to engage the backside of the Parjai and open fire. Similitaniously, fighter squadrons are launched and being swarming around the Parjai targeting its main guns and shield generators*

*As the Republic fleet launches its fighter compliments, attacking the parjai with the swarms, Arligan grins, finally giving the Lightning Fury a target. He nods over to Cassus and activates the shields and weapons on the fury, the two heavy double rotating cannons, as well as the proton torpedo launcher activates. Arligan flicks a switch on his console, and sends the proton torpedo launcher targeting systems and activation systems to Cassus's computer board*
"I have the guns, I just sent you the control systems for the proton torpedo cannon. When you find a good target, well, the usual."
*He grins under his helmet, the Lightning Fury jetting from beneath the Tracyn and comes into the battlespace around the Parjai, He aims the Fury around the massive Mandalorian ship and comes in behind a group of republic attackers. He opens fire, the two double heavy rotating cannons locking onto the first Republic Fighter and firing, the heavy cannons firing lancing red blasts of energy at the enemy target*

*Bralor calls out to helo through his helmet, having since sealed his suit in case of a decompression.*
::KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR VHON. I'M GOING DOWN TO MAN ONE OF THE TURBOLASERS.::
*With that Bralor turns and heads to the elevators and then down to the decks below. Several hulls have been sealed off because of decompressions and there is quite a bit of panic in the hallways. Bralor steps into one of the turbolasers and takes personal command. He traces his gloved hands along the red targeting screens, the gun rattling around him as it fires off its massive plasma bursts. Bralor aims directly at the engines of the nearest Republic ship, The Venerable.*

*Helo smacks a console in triumph as the Parjai decloaks and begins it's assault on the Republic vessels*
"Now THAT is more like it! Shield and weapon status?"
*A new bridge officer takes the place of the one that had recently been subjected to a massive feedback shock*
"Shields at three percent. One more hit and we're done. Primary weapons offline. Secondary turbolasers down to reserve power."
"Fierfek! This is suicide!"
*Helo slams his gauntlet against a bulkhead but nods to Bralor as he leaves*
"Will do, Sir. Any word from Drexl Squad?"
"None sir."
*Helo runs a hand across the top of his helmet*
"Back us out of here. Keep the Parjai between us and the Reppies. I want weapons back online - take the power from life support if you have to."

*Bralor keeps firing even though the lights go out, being replaced shortly after by the dim red glow of the emergency lights and the silence of space surrounding him. Bralor keeps firing at The Venerable until the turbolaser's reserve power is completely depleted. Bralor waits impatiently while it slowly recharges.*

*At the moment the Fury begins taking down fighters, the Ky'ram follows suit. Salkar takes the Ky'ram slightly higher than the Fury and quickly opens the subroutine to increase firepower as well as the controls for the weapon systems. He targets the nearest starfighter and begins his attack with the twin laser cannons.*

(Full Post with dialogue here) *More Republic Capital ships break away from the blockade in Dxun's orbit and begin firing on the Parjai. The Republic ships also launch swarms of fighters to harass the Parjai's engines and shield emitters. Despite the Parjai being vastly superior in size and armament, the sheer numbers of the Republic forces begin to ware on the Mandalorian Warship* *The Parjai takes a hard hit to it's weakened port shields, and the shields themselves suddenly flicker and die. A split second later a large explosion rips through deck thirty-nine, and hatches all over several decks begin blowing apart. Fighters close enough can see many Mandalorians being sucked out into space. A communications relay is also destroyed by Republic fire as the shields fail, and a large portion of the upper hull is blasted apart* *The Parjai's primary sublight engines suddenly flicker away and die. A moment later secondary systems come online, and the Parjai begins to limp away from the Tracyn and the Republic fleet assaulting the two Mandalorian Warships*

*Cassus nods to his son beside him as he transfers control of the torpedoes over to him. He doesn't bother shooting the off right away, and bypasses several locks on small starfighters - waiting for the perfect opportunity. Finally he gets it*
"See it? A crippled Reppie starfighter at point three-seven mark two. Looks like he's limping back to his hangar. If I time it right, well... we'll see if I time it right. 'Got a lock."
*Cassus holds the lock, waiting, and then pulls the trigger sending the missile screaming through the battle field to it's target. Cassus's timing is flawless, and the torpedo impacts with the back end of the starfighter, just as the front end passes through the hangar's shield. The fighter explodes in a fiery metalic ball and rips through the hangar of the Hammerhead class Capital Ship - leaving a giant hole in the side of the Republic Ship, as if a huge creature had taken a bite right out of it.*
(OOC: Attack and damage confirmed with player prior to posting)
"That'll keep that Reppie cruiser off our backs for a while! Ha ha!"
*As the Lightning Fury ducks and weaves around the Parjai, Cassus suddenly sees the shields fail*
"That doesn't look good."
*A second later, explosions can be seen down the entire length of the vessel, and streams of Mando bodies pour out. Cassus clenches his fists in anger at the Republic. He looks down the side of the ship as they fly along, trying to see where the brunt of the damage is. He sees a large portion of deck thirty-nine missing, but something just doesn't look right. There are no scorch marks from laser fire, it's as if this portion of the ship exploded from the inside*
"Where did they get hit!?"
*Cassus pulls up sensors on his display screen*
"I don't see where they got hit. What the hell just happened?"
*At that point, the Parjai's engines are cut, and it starts to back away on reserve power*
"What the hell? Arligan, patch me through to Vhon! He can't leave the Tracyn behind!"

*Arligan reacts as the Parjai basically explodes from within, distancing the Lightning Fury from the capital ship just in case of any further explosions. As Cassus pulls up the sensors, Arligan nods, the very same thoughts coming to his mind.*
"Something isn't right with this. There's no way they could have taken that much damage that fast."
*He breaks off as Cassus tells him to open the comms*
"Right away Sir."
*He taps a few buttons on the display, and the calling que opens on Cassus's display, showing the outgoing transmission to the Parjai. At the same time, Arligan pulls the triggers down on the grips, a lance of energy reaching out and touching more republic fighters, the almost two dozen ion engines continuing their coordinated dance*

*As the many Republic Fighters swarm around the Parjai the main capital ships continue their assault on both the Parjai and the Tracyn. Despite the Tracyn's imobilization, it was somehow still able to fire a good number of volleys at the Republic vessels. Captain Valorum was relatively new to command, but she had heard about the Mandalorians and how vicious they could be in battle - even though they were effectively beaten, they continued to hammer hard at the Republic's defenses. It was times like this where she had to make the tough calls* "Target the smaller vessel's engines. We can't keep taking hits like this. It's us or them."*The weapons officer nods* "Five proton torpedoes away."*The torpedoes scream towards the Tracyn* "Status of the larger vessel?""It looks like our last hit took down their shields temporarily, it looks like they've vented atmosphere on several decks, and their primary engines seems to be damaged as well.""Good work Lieutenant.""Thank you Captain, but it wasn't me. We were not targeting those sections when they took damage.""That's odd....""Captain! The Mandalorian Warship has altered it's course, it's firing on.... a small vessel.""One of ours?""No Captain, the transponder ID matches one of theirs. The one that's been harassing our fighters.""What the hell is going on out there?"*Suddenly a huge explosion rocks the ship. Computer conduits spark, and the lights suddenly flip off. There are sounds of bulkheads exploding and ceiling and wall panels shaking loose. Screams are heard from down the corridors. Emergency lighting kicks on a few seconds later. Captain Valorum, having been knocked to the ground, slowly forces herself up, a large gash on her head bleeding from impacting with a control console as she was thrown to the ground by the force of the explosion* "What was that!? I thought you said the Mandalorian Warship wasn't targeting us? Report!""I don't know! Half our screens are down, and internal sensors are not working. Nothing hit us. Something must have blown up inside the ship!""Move us back, away from the brunt of the battle. I want security and medical teams to sweep the ship. Find out what the hell happened!"

*Commander Roegr stands on his bridge, as his ship falls apart around him. His stance is unwavering, his determination even more so. Most of the sensors were offline. Shields were dead. Engines were long gone. Life Support had been rerouted ages ago to structural integrity - and now that was crumbling. This was the Kyr'vhetine Tracyn's final stand, and Roegr knew it. He stands on the bridge, facing the Republic Fleet - there was no better way to die. He didn't know where the Parjai was. He didn't know what Kom'rk Vhon had done. It didn't matter. In these last moments all that mattered was how he embraced death. And he embraced it well. The proton torpedoes from the Republic's lead warship would hit at any moment. He kept his eyes open, looking into the face of his enemy. The last thing that Helo Roegr saw was a large portion of his opponent's ship blowing up from the inside. His daughter was on that ship. He smiles. She had done well*
*The Tracyn's engines are hit by the Republics torpedoes and explode, causing a chain reaction throughout the ship. The Mandalorian ship is blown apart in a burst of flame and debris*

"Dikut!!!"
*That's all Arligan lets fly before he jams the stick forward on the Fury, the 21 HKD Ion Engines acting in sync to push the nimble courier vessel straight down away from the now enemy ship. With the internal compensator system struggling to keep up with the G's, the occupants in the Lightning Fury finally begin to understand why Arligan named it thus. Jamming the stick left in a followup barrel roll away from the Traitor ship, Arligan hurriedly speaks to Cassus*
"There's a big red button on the left hand side of your screen with a whole bunch of extra buttons buir! Decide where you want the extra power to go and press the damn button!"
*As he continues the Fury's gyrating motions away from the battle, the screen pops up for cassus, giving him the ability to send the second generators power to the weapons systems, the shield systems, or to the engines systems.*
"Damn!" *Arligan exclaims, jamming the fury left, desperately avoiding a republic starfighter that had just exploded, the turbolaser round that had been meant for them having nicked it. Even with the desperate maneuvers, the traitor mandalorians aim was exceptional, several times since having come under attack, the fury had suffered several close turbolaser strikes, two of which had come so close it had rocked the several occupants of the Fury*
