*The Iviin'yc Parjai shudders as it drops out of hyperspace and into orbit of Dxun. Immediately holographic red alarms and exterior images of a Republic battle fleet fly up around Kom'rk's command platform. It looked as if the Republic Fleet was firing on the surface* "Those treacherous cowards.... Attack my vode will you?" *Kom'rk hated the Republic. Mostly because he hated the Jedi, and the Jedi were the symbol of the Republic. Mandalore had kept him back, kept him silent. And look what happened. Everything Kom'rk had warned Mandalore about had proven true. The Republic had turned on the Mando'ade. Now it was time to make them pay* "All hands to battle stations! Load all torpedo tubes and stand by to fire on my mark!" *The holographic image panels floating around him told him everything he cared to know about. Two Republic Hammerheads were firing on the surface near the camp. The Republic lead vessel, and Inexpugnable-class, had already been crippled by the camp's ion cannon. It was a sitting duck* "Lock all weapons on their command ship and fire." *The Parjai fires all 12 'super-heavy concussion missiles' on the Liberty*

*As the Mandalorian Capital ship comes out of hyperspace and fires on the republics flagship, Servious whistles liking the view. He opens up a comm with the mando reinforcments, his Aurek turning and jetting away from the republic fleet and towards the ship*

*The Liberty shuts down all systems as several Republic Blockade Runners form up around it to offer it some sort of protection as it is left defenseless. After a minute the external sensors come back on as well as secondary life support systems and tractor control. The crew wildly looks over the screens to see what has happened in the past minute*
=Crewman= "Captain! A Mandalorian warship just dropped out of hyperspace, it's closing on our position!"
=Captain Carrington= "What? Is it the same one we detected several weeks ago?"
=Crewman= "Negative, sir. This one is much bigger."
=Captain Carrington= "Ordo was supposed to have taken all his ships with him. What the hell is this one doing here?"
=Crewman= "Targeting us, sir! They're firing missiles!"
=Captain Carrington= "Shields!"
=Crewman= "We can't sir, all our systems are not yet online.... Three seconds to impact!"
=Captain Carrington= "The Force be with us...."
*With no shields and not enough power routed to structural integrity the Mandalorian missiles rip through the Liberty and the grand Republic warship explodes into a ball of flames, smoke, and debris*
*One of the two Hammerheads that had fired on the AODS looses it's shields as the bunker unloads it's final shot at them. Four of the Foray-class Runners are hit by the Liberty's debris and take heavy damage to their shields. With their flagship down, the Republic fleet scatters, and head to confront the mysteriously appearing Mandalorian warship*
Fleet Status: 10 Hammerhead-class Capital Ships - - 1 without shields toward rear of fleet 9 Foray-class Blockade Runners - - 4 with heavy damage to energy shielding toward front of fleet

*Kom'rk grins beneath his navy and gold helmet as the images around him show the Republic flagship blow apart.*
"That'll show those dik'utla Reppies a thing or two."
*Several screens focus in on a single Aurek Strikefighter speeding away from the Republic fleet toward them, while miraculously managing to not get caught in the crossfire. The Parjai then receives a message from the Aurek - asking to land*
"What the bloody hell is this? He want's us to drop our shields so he can land in our hangar? How stupid does he think we are? Some sort of pathetic Republic trick no doubt. Fire on that ship! No Mando'ad would risk his vode for his own hide. Bring the turbolaser online and load the torpedoes for another volley."
*As Kom'rk gives his commands, a comm comes through from the surface - routed to his command station. He responds*
"I'm not going to dignify that question with an answer, soldier. Look at your own damn screens. How many Kandosii-type dreadnaughts are still in service? That's right, one. Us. Now let us do our job protecting your shebse and then you can send us a fruit basket when we're done."
*Kom'rk shuts off the comm and refocuses on the battle*
"Send a volley of torpedoes at the lead Hammerheads, and lock our turbolasers onto their frigates. Fire."
*The Parjai fires it's many turbolaser batteries on the already weakened Forays as well as the lone Aurek and then sends another twelve Torpedoes at the front two Hammerheads*

*As the turbolasers fire at Servious's Aurek, he dives hard left then right, barely being missed by the bolts. Silently thanking the still rather large distance between him and the new ship, he silently curses the di'kut in command of it as he dives down and barrel rolls, dodging another burst of turbolaser fire. Cursing them again knowing that any good ship has the ability to open small holes through it's shields to allow it's starfighters entry and exit from the hangar bays. Either they thought he was a republic trooper or just didn't care. Sounded more like sith then mando. He drops down on the reverse scale, dropping well below the firing ranges of the heavy guns of either fleet. He looks up at them with irritation. Stupid navy boys. Figuring his chances better on the ground where there were actual vod, the aurek plummets to the surface, damaged due to several scrapes due to how close the turbolaser blasts where.*

*The Republic fleet sends down a status report to General Ma'tien, his response takes a few moments but eventually comes back as:*
::Maintain position. Rreturn firre.::
*The Republic fleet confirms the orders and opens fire on the Parjai. The Four Forays in the forefront of the assault take a massive beating from the Mandalorian turbolasers - destroying two of the weakened vessels, the other two break to the side to flank the large Warship. The lead Hammerheads take heavy damage to their shields as the torpedoes collide with the energy barriers. Without a command ship, the initial response to the Parjai is erratic and unorganized*
*Finally a young captain aboard the Ecliptic takes charge and patches through to the Republic fleet*
::This is Captain Cordé Valorum aboard the Ecliptic, I'm taking command of the fleet. All capital ships turn to coordinates seven, six mark two-seven, and launch all fighter squadrons then fire at will. Support craft fall in behind the capital ships and fire proton torpedoes across our bows at the Mandalorian warship. All ships then fan out across the Z axis and try to draw their fire from the squadrons. Flank them and open fire. Fighter squadrons target engines and primary systems - you should be able to evade their targeting sensors once you're close enough in. Hang in tight and watch your buddy. Ecliptic out.:
*The fleet follows her orders and regroup at the designated coordinates of the Parjai's port side. The remaining Foray's fire a volly of proton torpedoes at the Mando warship, followed by turbolaser fire from the Captial ships as fighter squadrons are launched. The fleet then breaks apart to flank the Parjai from both top and bottom, as the squadrons close the gap, and open fire with their turbolasers. Once in close, the fighters swarm the Warship's engines, comm array, and life support systems*
Fleet Status: 10 Hammerhead-class Capital Ships - - 3 with heavy damage to shields in bottom portion of fleet 7 Foray-class Blockade Runners - - 2 with heavy damage to shields in to portion of fleet Starfighter Squadrons deployed

*The Parjai takes damage to it's shields as the Republic fleet forms up around the much larger warship and beats down on it. Eventually the shields breach in one location, letting a barrage of turbolaser fire rip through a section of the port side. On the bridge Commander Kom'rk Vhon is shouting out orders from his command station*
"Reroute power from internal systems to port shields! Keep our bow steady and return fire! All batteries fire at will! Destroy the treacherous cowards!"
*As the Republic launches their fighters and swarm in around the Parjai Kom'rk orders his warriors into space*
"All vode to the Basilisks! Destroy them ship to ship if you have to! We will not surrender! We will not retreat! We are Mando'ade!"
*Kom'rk pushes the holographic display of the battle aside and steps off of his command platform*
"Orade. You have the Bridge. Bring these Republic dogs to their knees. I'll be joining the fray."
"Yes, Commander!"
*Kom'rk stalks off the bridge and heads to the launch bay*
*The Parjai opens fire with its 30 Medium double turbolasers and 12 Point-defense triple laser cannons. It also launches swarms of mounted Basilisk war-droids and its full complement of 128 Davaab-class Mandalorian Starfighters to combat the Republic fighter squardons. Leading the charge is Commander Kom'rk Vhon atop his personalized Basilisk*

*Aboard the Ecliptic, Captain Cordé Valorum is surveying the scene. Despite being heavily outnumbered the Mandalorians were not giving up without one hell of a fight. While the Republic ships take some damage, due to their tactical layout the damage is spread evenly through their ranks and no single ship goes critical. The Ecliptic receives an order from General Ma'tien ordering an evac shuttle to be sent down to the landing site*
"Fighter Squadrons break off and engage those Basilisks and Mandalorian fighters. Keep them clear of the Evac shuttle. I don't want it going down with the General on board!"
*The Ecliptic launches a shuttle and several fighter squadrons break off from their close attack to keep the Mandalorian fighters and Basilisks from attacking it. A few moments later General Ma'tien contacts the fleet, which is rerouted to the Ecliptic*
"This is Captain Cordé Valorum, General. A shuttle is en route to the drop point, per your request. How'd it go down there?
::As good as could be 'spected I s'ppose. I've given the Mandies thrree days ta vacate the system, 'fore we blockade 'em. I 'ope they have the good sense ta do so.::
"I hope so too, General. The last thing the Republic needs is two fronts in this war. We'll keep the Mandos off your back until you get back up here, General. Ecliptic out."

*Kom'rk has been engaging the many Republic starfighters from his Basilisk mount, the machine and him working as one to destroy his enemies. Mandalore had been so confident, so trusting - and look where it landed them. With the Republic turning on them and attacking their main encampment. The one place his people could reunite and unify. Well they would not succeed as long as Kom'rk Vhon still breathed. Several of the fighters break off from their attack on the Parjai and head for the Dxun moon. Something was up. Kom'rk breaks off his own attack and follows after them, and soon realizes that they are trying to protect a single Republic shuttle. That was his target*
::You're mine.::
*Kom'rk spins his Basilisk around and fires his blasters at several of the Aurek strikefighters. Then races after the shuttle as it descends into the atmosphere*

*The shuttle sent to the surface returns to orbit and an Aurek fighter escort squadron forms up around it, they bring it into the hangar of the Ecliptic. The wounded soldiers are taken to the medbay and the Sergeant from General Ma'tien's team heads directly for the bridge. Once on the bridge he approaches Captain Valorum*
"Captain."
*Captain Cordé Valorum turns and faces the soldier*
"Sergenat. Where is the General?"
"Dead, maam.... He... A Mandalorian ambushed us while we were trying to take off. He sacrificed himself so that we could get away. We saw the Mandalorian kill him right after we took off."
*Captain Valorum's face drops and she takes a strained breath*
"Thank you, Sergeant. Such is an act of war, but the General's orders were clear. We give the Mandies three days to get off planet, then we blockade them. I'll contact Command and update them on the situation. Get yourself cleaned up, Sergeant."
"Yes, maam."
*The Sergeant salutes and then exits the bridge. Valorum goes to the communication terminal and sends out the message to Naval Command*

=RETCON= *The battle raged on for several hours, eventually coming to a close after Kom'rk Vhon called for a ceasefire once on the surface. The Parjai then broke from the combat, recalling all fighters and cloaked itself*
*The Republic Fleet allowed the Mandalorians to retreat and settled back into a defensive position between Onderon and Dxun - waiting. Afterwards the Tracyn arrived and Bralor's shuttle left for the surface*
=CURRENT=
*The Parjai decloaks over the northern pole of Dxun and descends into a low orbit. As it does so, it send several troopships down to the surface to collect supplies and personnel from the surface. Two days go by and the Mandalorian Camp has begun to be disassembled and brought up to the Parjai, along with a good portion of the men on the surface*

*Captain Cordé Valorum walks along the bridge of the Ecliptic. Three days have passed and while the Mandalorians had been sending shuttles back and forth from the surface, they still had not vacated the planet*
"The General told us he gave them three days. I guess that's that. Conn, have the fleet position itself in a standard blockade formation around the moon. They're not going to like this. Shields at full, and prepare yourselves for an attack."
*The Onderon Fleet moves around Dxun, setting up a grid-like pattern encircling the planet. Each ship is equally spaced, and should one take damage, four other ships are nearby to assist*

::This is Tomias ShoRyu of the Jedi Order requesting immediate assistance. My registration number is 1-1-1-4-8-7.::
*An operator from the Republic Fleet runs the numbers and is given a clear. He responds back to Tomias.*
-Operator- ::Uh, Sir, you are coming into atmosphere hot. Recommend reducing speed your speed before attempting to land in the docks of the city.::
::That's the thing. This ship will not slow down quick enough for me to safely land in the city. I am maneuvering for a hard landing outside the city in the surrounding woods. Requesting a convoy escort back to the city if possible.::
*The operator looks at the commanding officer who is listening in on the whole conversation. He nods at the request.*

::Thanks. I really appreciate it.::

*The Adenn Kyr'am hits orbit and Salkar can see that the Republic have a blockade around the moon. Salkar is unsure as to whether he should approach the Parjai or stay near the Fury. After a couple of thoughtful minutes, Salkar decides to stay with the Fury and diverts power away from the engines and to the weapon systems and shields instead, if it's a firefight he'll be in, he won't need to out maneuver the Republic rather than destroy their fighters. However, he starts up a protocol to immediately remove all power from the weapons systems and some power from the shields to the engine systems in case a retreat was ordered. He then opens up the advanced weapons suite's display screen and changes the firing and loading speeds of the ship's guns to make the guns more deadly and more accurate. He grins to himself and as he was about to open a comm to the Fury, the open comm from the Fury reaches the Kyr'am, knowing that the Alor was on board he immediately assumes the Alor issued the comm link*

*Cassus responds first to his son*
"Roegr has his orders, at his signal we move in. Roegr and Vhon both know what to do, the more we rely on the comm - the more likely the Reppies will know what our next move is. That's part of the reason we were able to stay ahead of the Republic for so long - we planned for every possibility prior to the battle, and adapted as needed. Unfortunately, Jedi have the annoying habit of predicting events. With this fleet's Jedi gone, they'll have a harder time combating us... and as outnumbered as we are right now, we need every advantage we can get."
*Cassus looks over the comm, and opens it up to Skirata's channel only - keeping off the fleet-wide comm for now*
::Fall in behind us and hang in tight. You'll be watching our six.::
*Cassus then looks over to his son again*
"I want you to do what you want here. Show me what you've got. I'll step in if I'm needed - but this is your moment to shine, not mine. But never be too proud to ask for help - it's a failing many great Mando'ade have fallen to. Know what you are capable of, and know what are not. Use the others around you to supplement yourself. A leader is not made by his actions alone, but of all those around him."
*Cassus gives a short grunt - it'd been a while since he'd done this... and even then it was just with another trainee. This boy... man in front of him was his own son - Cassus hopes he can live up to the high expectations placed upon fathers. He had fought in endless battles, conducted a galactic-size war, brought the Republic to it's knees, but this one seemingly simple role of fatherhood was daunting - perhaps it was why he had put it off for this long*
"Ha! Now I'm starting to sound like some old jetii coot. Don't be afraid to smack me one if I don't shut up and let you work."
