"As in I already got someone. It's complicated. I didn't assume you saw me in that way either, I mean, I'm surprised you don't see me as dangerously insane!" She lets out a sudden maniacal laugh before stopping it just as suddenly.
Once she was done scaring him for her own amusement, she nodded at his request. "Right, the Force. I'll teach you what I can. We can try and practice more telekinesis, if that's what you want. Or illusions and stealth, I don't think you've tried any of those but they've pretty handy."

Risanith Fenn was no less confused then before, and as such decided to drop the line of questions all together. Perhaps there were some things about these humans, that he would never understand. Then there was...laughter. Laughter that did not sound very natural what-so-ever. Quite possibly evil. Like that killtastic girl in that palace dungeon. That didn't bode well. However the talk about learning new things completely changed his scared facial expressions (which may not of looked that way to Deanna, given Risanith is a Talortai), to a more curious and inquisitive expression.
"This one....would be interested...how about both of them? This one believes we have time."

"Well, they both are based on the same principles of manipulating minds to see things that aren't there, and to not see things that are there. I'm not sure you can master them in that time, but you can get the basic idea."
She stands up and starts pacing. "How to explain it? Minds are complicated things, and it's been a lot of trial and error for me. I'm not good at really complicated illusions, mostly at the stealth thing. I guess with stealth it's a matter of making yourself so small that no one notices you. That if they aren't directly looking at you, they don't think to notice you. You sort of dissolve in with the universe so much that no one knows you're there. It takes a lot of sense of self to get back out of it. Does that make sense?"
She decides to demonstrate it. She takes a deep breath and her Force signature almost completely fades away, and she becomes a bit blurrier. Then she snaps out of it and is completely visible again.
"It's oneness with the universe until you're nothing. It's letting go of your ego. I usually like to have some cloaking field to help out. The Force and technology are not at odds."

Risanith jumped at what Deanna did. Even though they had just discussed it, Risanith hadn't seriously expected Deanna to do it just now.
"This one was surprised." Risanith pondered for a few moments on what had just happened, and what Deanna had said.
"So...this one needs to become...small in the Force?"
He started to focus inward, trying to focus his mind into a pinprick of a spot, a point, a mere location without any form of size. A singular dimension in space.
However the actual effect he had contrasted greatly with the desired effect he was going for. His Force signature almost completely disappeared. It was unsettling to Risanith, feeling like he had just lost a sense. His sight seemed to grey, losing detail and colour.
Jerking out of the trance he had put himself in, he fell off his seat on to the floor.

Deanna nodded at his understanding. "Yeah, pretty much. Small and vaporous is what I do, some people just small works."
He seemed to get the some of the hand of it, with him becoming more difficult to see in the Force and a little bit more difficult to see with her eyes.
"All right, that's the start of it!" She got up to lend a hand to help him back up on his feet.

"Small and vapourous?" Risanith asked. This one did not become vapour in the traditional sense of the word. Nor did that one become vapour when that one was demonstrating. Perhaps this one is missing something?
Accepting the offered hand, Deanna helped Risanith up and gave him some encouragement.
That wasn't the correcting feeling this one was suppose to have. It felt....as if this one was losing this one to nothing. This one MUST of done something wrong.
"This one did not do it correctly....this one...this one did not like how that felt. This one felt as if this one had lost senses. That can't be right, can it?" asked a rather confused and concerned Risanith. If that is how its suppose to work, this one will not touch that ability ever again.

Deanna shook her head.
"No, that's not right. You're supposed to remain aware of everything while you're doing it. Blend in, but stay distinct. It takes some practice. Everything does, I guess, but especially this."

OOC: Hey, I've been busy RL, and will hopefully get on track with posting more than once a day. Deanna, feel free to post, eventually i'll get a reaction to what is going on for Ri up.
---
"This one will try again." Even as he said that, he no idea what he was going to do differently. This one doesn't know what to do....doing that is like cutting off a limb, but worse...yet it seems like that is the only way to do the power...yet that one says it isn't suppose to feel like it.
Reaching out again into the Force, Risanith started to feel the similar rush that ran through him. Pulling it, he tried to focus it into a manner similar to what he remembered Deanna, blurrying, becoming absent, physically not being measurable. However, physically, Risanith was still quite visible. Through the Force, however, his presence started to wane.

She said to keep on trying...so this one will keep at it... It may not of been right, but Deanna HAD said to keep on trying. Diving deeper and deeper into a pinprick size, trying to minimize his physical shape. Yet that was the one thing he was NOT doing. His Force presence was the thing that was minimizing.
After a few minutes, Risanith opened his eyes.
It seemed as if everything had turned black and white, as if a grey scale had been attached to everything, like a giant vacuum had just sucked the life out of everything. If he looked closely, Risanith could see the colours in people, but they were so muted it was almost impossible to see colour without focusing on them.
Deanna no longer looked the same, that was the biggest difference. Before she was quite...vibrant for lack of better words, with colour, although it was a very smokey grey tint to it, with slight bits of light breaking through the murk of the smokey greyness. The smokey grey tint was gone, as well as the hints of the light blue colour...instead it was just a stark colour, similar to how the stark colour of a normal box looked.
Risanith did NOT know what was going on, and started to more than a little panic.
"This one...what..is going on?!"

He seemed to be getting it, at least at first. He grew blurrier and blurrier, before it suddenly stopped and reversed. Deanna started to panic when she saw that Ri was starting to panic. He didn't seem to be disappearing anymore. If anything he was getting more obvious, in the Force, at least.
"I don't know, stop whatever you're doing and explain what happened. You were almost there! I must've said something wrong or gave you wrong instructions, I'm sorry, everything I know is either self-taught or incoherent Jedi-speak, I'm sorry. I'm not a very good teacher, I know."
