This Crystal Cavern has long been used as a source of lightsaber crystals for the Jedi Order. Within the main chamber is a spiral stairway that leads to the higher levels of the cavern. The secret entrance to the cavern is guarded by a nest of gorgodons. Image: Clone Wars Chapter 14 © Lucasfilm

*It had been awhile, a long while. But Lee eventually found himself on Ilum. He'd heard of this place from his master but never thought he'd actually visit the planet. Though, this really wasn't much of a visit. It was more like an escape, and an exile. He decided he'd keep himself here for as long as he needed, until the taint was gone. Being in the very heart of the crystal caves had helped. This place was ancient and it radiated with natural Force, not any of the corrupt or twisted dark side Force. But now, at the end of the rope, Lee had little choice but to find a way off planet. Rations had run out and an ice world wasn't ideal for resources to keep you alive. Not when you had so little resources yourself to begin with. The way out of the caves was just as hard as the way in. That nest of Gorgodons proved that much. They'd left him alone once he'd made his way in, but only because he stayed at the heart of the caves and not the entrance to. Lee stumbled on his way out, desperately making it across the snow to his downed ship. Slowly he opened the hatch to his fighter and climbed in. Some systems were operational, but it'd never take to orbit. It took a bit of basic power rerouting, but he managed the juice to send out a distress signal on a Republic channel. No sense in drawing unwanted attention. Done with his job, Lee collapsed into the seat and began to rest, going over his Jedi meditation.*

*The Ebon Hawk descends from orbit, slowly making its way through the wind and snow. It sets down about a hundred meters from the distress call's origin, the landing skids sinking into the snow several feet. The boarding ramp lowers and Kali walks out, but hits her head on the top of the Ebon Hawk, due to the boarding ramp not lowering all the way down because of the snow*
SON OF A MURGLAK!
*T3-M4 rolls over to the boarding ramp* Beep?
*Kali rubs her forehead* Do I look okay to you!?
Dwoo.... Dweep.
Oh switch off. I don't need to hear that from you.
Beep boop.
I don't care if I asked your or not. Now stay here with the ship. I'll be right back, see if I can find our distress-e.
*Kali trudges off through the snow in the direction of the signal. After about a hundred meters she runs across the wreckage of a crashed Aurek fighter*
Hello!? Hello is anyone there!?

*Lee is startled slightly by the voice he hears and though barely in a conscious state, he recognizes it's familiar to him. He gets up from his seat slightly with some effort and pushes open the hatch as he turns the distress signal off, it was obvious he was already found. The hatch opened, he looks up to see the Exile infront of him.*
Well well. My rescuer turns out to be another exile.
*Lee eases slowly out the cockpit of the fighter, a small bag slung over his shoulder. His robes black, filthy, and torn. He finally stands face to face with Kali.*
I wouldn't mind catching up on old times and all that. But I assume you've got the Ebon Hawk with you? I'd prefer to get out of this harsh environment first.

*Kali recognizes the young man who steps out of the cockpit immediately*
Well I'll be damned. The force has a sense of humor after all.
Yeah, come on, its this way.... or at least I think it's this way.
*Kali leads Lee back to the Ebon Hawk. T3 is waiting for them at the boarding ramp*
Watch your head. The ramp's a little more cramped the usual with all this snow.
*she enters the Ebon Hawk with Lee behind her*

*After a few minutes the Ebon Hawk lifts off of the snowy ground and retracts its landing skids. Then it blasts into Orbit*
