*Nahte lies in the room. He watches as the fluid drips into the tube. He shuts his eyes and tries to relax as the medicine did its work. He slowly drifts into unconsciousness.*
"AGHH!"
*Nahte sits straight up in the bed and stares at the closed door infront of him.*
:: A dream. Another karking dream.::
*He looks at his arm*
"This could be a problem"
*Blood starting pouring out of Nahte. When he had sat up so quickly he ripped the IV out of his arm.*
"Nurse!!! Help please!!"

=Nurse 1=
*One of the nurses comes rushing in when she hears Nahte screaming. She had been just outside his door behind a desk putting in some information on a terminal. She sees Nahte has ripped the I.V. out of his arm and sighs. She cleans up the blood, cleans around the same spot again, numbs it again, changes needles, and puts the I.V. back in Nahte.*
Be careful with this I.V. You'll be in here alot longer than an overnight stay if you keep ripping it out.
*She turns around to leave, but then turns back around to face Nahte and points to a button near his bed within arm's reach for him.*
If you have another accident or need a nurse, just push that button and one of us will be along as soon as possible.
*As the nurse leaves, Lara enters with Leiah into Nahte's room.*
=Lara=
So what did the nurses say?
*She had meant his current diagnosis and how long he'd be in for, but she thought to detail her question more.*
Like what did they tell you, how bad is it, and how long will you be in here for?

"Nurse says if I don't stop ripping this stupid thing outta my arm it could be a while."
*He flicks the IV.*
"Hows Alex?"

*She looks at the IV, then hears Nahte's question. She decides to answer it first before responding to his comment.*
Still out cold as far as we know. They rushed him off and we went to check on you. I'm sure we'll hear something soon. I would suggest not making a habit of doing that. You don't want to spend more time here than necessary, I'm sure.
So how did you manage to rip that thing out anyway?

"I sat up a little quicker than I should have."
*Nahte didn't want to mention the dream. He knew she wouldn't understand.*
"Im sorry again. For that in the tram. I had no idea I could do that. "
*Nahte looks at his hand.*
"Am I in trouble?"

*Having followed Lara in, Leiah leans up against the wall beside the door with her arms crossed. She was watching the hallway carefully, as if expecting someone with unfriendly intentions to come walking down it. She listens casually to the conversation between Nahte and Lara before biting back at Nahte*
"You would be if anyone knew you were responsible. You nearly killed over a hundred people with that stunt. It's the last time I'll take the bloody mag-train."

*Lara turns to look over at Leiah and makes a come back of her own.*
Now we're worried about killing people? That's a refreshing change.
*She looks back over at Nahte. That incident had thrown her into such a chaotic, panicked state of mind that she must have forgotten Nahte was the cause of it all. Well, she did sense that potential in the Force. Infact, she could actually see it. Part of her remembered the lecture Alex gave her about teaching Lex. She didn't want to overstep her boundaries. But a little talk wouldn't hurt anything, she supposed.*
Nahte, the Force is powerful and experiments by the untrained at random just ends in a chaotic result. You could have killed so many people just by deciding to test out what you saw. You have the potential, it's so obvious. However, you don't have the training to control it. You need to think before you do. Every action has it's consequence.

*Leiah would have rolled her eyes at Lara's snide comment if she had pupils to actually roll*
"There's a difference between killing people trying to kill and/or capture you and killing a train full of sick civilians."
*It wasn't something Leiah expected the Miraluka to understand - she had already expressed her disapproval at Leiah's actions on Mustafar several times*
*Leiah can't help but to let out short laugh at Lara's last comment on consequences to Nahte*
"Haha! Ahem. Sorry. But you're not serious are you? A Jedi preaching about consequences of actions? Since when have the Jedi ever cared about the consequences of their actions?"

*Lara turns around from Nahte, giving Leiah her full attention. She takes a few steps towards her and stares at her for a moment in silence before responding back to her.*
Bold question coming from you. Since meeting you, we have gotten ourselves thrown into a fight with a mandalorian. I subdued him to where he could not harm us, and you kill him in cold blood. We then offer you a way off Mustafar and you attack Alexander by putting a blaster to his head. Not only that, but you doubt what I had to say about him and what I have witnessed with my own "sight" *Lara points distinctively to her eyes.* and planting a bit of doubt in me as well.
*Lara clears her throat and continues speaking.*
Now you want to jump all over him for an accident and talk about Jedi not caring about the consequences? You have done nothing but cause a mess and stir up trouble since the moment we met and you want to go around barking out blame at other people?
I could care less what your problems are with the rest of the universe, because all I've seen you do is create problems!
*Leiah had been working on Lara's nerves since Mustafar and she was only pushing it further and further. Quite honestly, Lara was tired of dealing with her. Where was Alexander when she needed him? It was amazing how he seemed to have more patience with her than she did. Maybe it was just a girl thing.*

"You want to talk about problems? You might not give a damn because you are so wrapped up in your self-righteous Jedi god complex to notice, but there are other people out in the galaxy beyond you! And those people, the normal ones, don't like you very much. All they see is Jedi interfering in their lives and taking their own choices away from them. And then you have the war. A war that has enveloped the whole galaxy and every planet just because the Jedi and Sith can't get along and play nice. Yeah, I know it's not that simple - but that's what people see. Ever wonder why it's called the 'Jedi Civil War?' It's because everyone else out there doesn't see the difference between Jedi and Sith. Both are arrogant SOB's with god complexes like you, waving glowing swords around and telling everyone that they're better than the rest of the galaxy. Well guess what? You're not! And you have NO right to be self-proclaimed watchmen for the galaxy. You have no right to interfere and bring war and destruction and death to hundreds upon hundreds of planets!
"But you want to know about me? Do you? Well let me give you a quick run down. My name is Leiah and I was a Padawan that got treated like crap by everyone including my own master. They took me away from my family, ignored me, gave up on me and then sent me away to Serroco. Then the Mandalorians showed up and destroyed everything I had created, and killed everyone I knew. Then, for sixteen years I didn't create any 'problems,' as you call it. Sixteen years! I had a life - one that wasn't dictated by old Jedi coots or in constant threat of Mandalorian bombardment. Then, one day last year, your Master shows up, kills my crew, and then tortures me for two weeks straight. That's what I've witnessed with my own 'sight.' So forgive me if I don't go up and hug him the instant some little girl says he's all better! And forgive me if I kill a single mass murdering criminal! My life was perfectly fine until you Jedi started messing with it again - since then I've been imprisoned three times, tortured twice, shot, interrogated, shot at, dropped down a train tunnel, and once again lost everyone I know or care about. So you tell me, Jedi, who here hasn't thought about the consequences of their actions? Because I've seen the consequences of your actions, I've experienced them. What do you have to complain about? Some hurt feelings? A little doubt? My heart is just weeping for the pain I've caused you."

*Lara lets Leiah keep spitting out her words. She says nothing until she is done.*
So far you have been talking about other Jedi and putting that blame on me. *I* have done nothing but try to help. *I* have done nothing but try to keep people alive and stop the death and destruction at the hands of others, like yourself. You keep saying "you Jedi" this and "you Jedi" that. I am talking about you. You are not talking about me.
Sure. You are talking about others that have come before me. You talk about others during my time. Maybe you're even talking about others that will come after me. But you are not talking about me. I didn't ask about you, even though you seem to think I did. But since we are on this subject, my turn. I am seventeen years old. I'm a female miraluka. I'm a Jedi Padawan. I have spent my time studying.
On my first mission I went to Mustafar. That's where I found you and Nahte. Nahte we healed and took to get medical treatment. You were on that planet as well and got off with the rest of us, and I've seen what kind of headache that has caused us. We come to Utapau and I learned how to revive a baby that has stopped breathing and saved it's life while Alex was keeping us all from dying on that tram.
And Alex saved many lives today, including yours. The one you are talking about? The spirit of a Sith. Darth Talik. Darth Talik killed all those people. Darth Talik is your problem. Oh wait. Your problem is dead and exorcised.
So excuse me if I don't weep for you because you want to be so bitter about your vision of Jedi and pin it all on me. For as much evil as you've seen, you're willing to overlook the good. Oh and by the way. When I spoke of planting seeds of doubt, that was a reference a Jedi Padawan should have gotten.
*She turns away from Leiah, tiring of this arguement with her. It made her stomach ill arguing values and views with someone she saw kill another sentient. She turns her attention back to Nahte. Atleast *he* hadn't killed anyone....yet.*

"It's called group accountability, girlie. Get used to it. What one Jedi does affects the whole Order. It doesn't matter if it was you specifically that pulled the trigger or someone else, with a Jedi, it falls on you as a whole. Throw your Jedi buddies under the mag train and deny responsibility all you want, but you know what I'm saying is true."
*Leiah finds it absolutely shocking that Lara can hold her responsible for not knowing about her master no longer being a Sith - as if she was supposed to magically know that the person that had tortured her was all fixed up. Did she try attacking Organa again after she was told the truth? No. Did she have a conversation with the man? Yes! The naivety that this young Miraluka was displaying was doing absolutely nothing to mend Leiah's perception of the Jedi - in fact it was only reinforcing it.*
"You think you're so much better than me because of your books and your high and noble ideals. Well out here is the real world, Lara. This isn't a classroom - things don't work the same way. You've got issues with me killing a mass murdering criminal scumbag like that mandie? Well then what you need to do right now is take a piece of your own advice and think about the consequences of what your actions would have been. He would have woke up and kept hunting. Maybe not for me and maybe not for you, but for someone. And then that Mandalorian monster would be preying on yet another unsuspecting victim. Think about positive probabilities all you want, but don't ignore the fact of who he is and what he's done. Like I said, this is the real world. There is a much greater likelyhood that he'll continue on his rampage before he ends it. Stop living in your fantasy world where everything can be perfect - cause it won't be."
"And don't think that I'm not grateful for both you and your Master saving my life - it's the only reason I'm still sticking around here."

For someone who talks of accountability, you still have no problem taking no accountability for your own actions. What my actions would have done? Think of yours. When the rest of the mandalorians see that a mandalorian was killed while dealing with Jedi, what do you think that'll do?
Excuse me if I'm wrong, but the Jedi aren't warring with mandalorians right now. Yet that one incident could be enough to spark such a thing. Atleast by not killing him I wouldn't have risked an entire war over one incident.
And I'll stop living in my fantasy world the day you're no longer a bitter old hag that sees everything in black. I'm done with this conversation. We can just agree to disagree.
*Lara was really, really getting tired of this arguement. Hopefuly she'd just agree to disagree as Lara hoped and allow her to focus on more important things like Nahte and Alex's health as opposed to arguing with someone Lara considered a cold blooded killer.*

"Naivety doesn't suit you, Jedi. You dare randomly accuse me of not taking accountability? I acted on that accountability - if I had let that Mandie live, then the blood he later shed would be on me; as it would have been on you. That's accountability. The difference between you and me is that I think a whole situation through and then act based on the totality of the circumstances, while you think of the one best possible outcome and hope for that to happen, leaving it to fate.
"You might think I see things all in black, but you'll come to realize in time that I'm just telling you how it really is out here. You've been cooped up in your little oh-so-super-secret Enclave on Telos for so long that you don't even have a clue about what's happening out here in the real world. The galaxy is being ripped apart by war and thousands of people are dying every day on a hundred different battlefronts. Mass murderers like that Mandie and Sith are taking advantage of the chaos and are preying on the weak. Berate me all you want, but at least I did something back there on that rock. So go ahead and disagree, go ahead and ignore me, go ahead and turn your back on me - just like you and the Order did to the rest of the galaxy."
*By this point Leiah is beyond frustrated with Lara's naivety and arrogance. It was exactly Jedi like this that had let the Mandalorian Wars go on for so long, and it was exactly Jedi like this that were responsible for the negative public perception of Jedi throughout the galaxy. She turns to leave and presses the release button on the room's door. She steps into the doorway and then turns back to Lara, considerably more calm now that she'd made the conscious decision to exit*
"I'll be waiting on the ship. If you want to see the consequence of your Order's actions, take a look around. We're on an orbital military medical facility. Look at the sick, the injured and the dying. Everyone here are either Republic personnel or refugees from worlds overrun by the Sith. And what is the Order doing? Hiding. Sure, a few like Kali or Belaya might still be out there taking on the Sith - but is it enough? Shouldn't the the Order be doing something? Shouldn't you?"
*Leaving that thought with Lara, Leiah exits the room and makes her way back to the hangar in which they arrived - avoiding the mag train if at all possible*

*Alex is standing on a precipice overlooking an endless ocean of blue. As he looks out, waves begin to roll and crash into the rocky cliff he is standing over. He looks down and can see foam caused by the waves collect into millions of tiny spiders which begin to crawl up the side of the cliff.*
*Alex backs away, fear overwhelms him, but his back hits a solid surface. He looks up and sees a magnificent wroshyyr tree. It is looming over him, casting it's shadow across both him and the ocean below. In it are hundreds of Wookiees staring down at him - hate in their eyes. Unable to back up any further, he watches in terror as the foam spiders breach the edge of the cliff and clamber toward him. They begin crawling up his legs and gnawing on his flesh. Alex tries to reach for his lightsaber but is unable to, and he strikes at the spiders as he struggles through the swarm. But as he does so, he reaches the edge of the cliff and falls. He falls down toward the ocean below with the spider falling after him.*
*He looks up as he falls, the Wookiees are still staring at him, he glances toward the water below him and can make out fish. No, not fish, Selkath. Selkath swimming in the sea - but the water is boiling around them. He plunges into the water but rather than water filling his mouth as he struggles to breath, all he feels is course dry sand. He tries to spit the sand out of his mouth but it only flows in more.*
*Caught in a sea of sand, he struggles out, and finally makes it to the surface, a scorching sun burns his face and while blinded by the sudden light, he falls into something hard and metallic. As his eyes focus he can see that it is a small black astromech droid. It spins it's head around, but instead of the round friendly photoreceptor there is a large glowing red crystal. The sight of the crystal burns into Alex, and he falls backwards in pain*
"I need a crash cart! Stat!"
*A full team of medical personnel is swarming around Alex whom has just been admitted into the emergency medical unit after his breathing and heart rate had suddenly spiked beyond normal levels. Now it had stopped. Two nurses tear open the robes over his chest so that they can easily access his torso for electric shock stimulation, and as they do so they find the hundreds of tiny scars covering his body caused by Darth Talik's holocron. Alex's body suddenly jolts in a seizure and simultaneously the scars all open up and begin to bleed as his heart suddenly starts up again*
"What in the name of.... I need gauze! Lots of it! NOW!"
*Several nurses begin to apply medical bandages to Alex's bleeding torso in an attempt to clot the wounds. As they apply pressure, it begins to work and the bleeding is controlled. Alex's body continues to shake violently at infrequent intervals, however*
"Seven milliliters of Triptocoaxil!"
*The doctor injects a glowing light blue liquid into Alex's bloodstream and as it does so the seizures stop Alex lay's limply on the medical cot. The doctor looks over the readings and sighs, pulling the mask off her face and running a hand through her dark hair*
"What the hell is going on with this guy?"
*Alex wakes up on a bed of sand. Over him is a giant red creature with tendrils hanging off his face. A Sith? Alex shoots upward using the Force to propel him faster, but then is frozen in place. The red creature steps aside and another red creature steps forward - this one in ornate gold and black dressings. Lightning swirls around him. Behind him are hundreds of more red creatures, Selkath, Wookiees, Sand People, Humans, and short gray bipedal beings. The one swirling with lightning speaks. And then the others - each with their own distinct language*
<Apathy is death!>
<Apathy is death!>
<Apathy is death!>
<Apathy is death!>
<Apathy is death!>
<Apathy is death!>
<Apathy is death!>
*From the center of them all is the black astromech droid with the glowing red photoreceptor. The many creatures part ways and the crystal grows closer. It speaks in basic with a deep rumbling voice that sends a chill down Alex's spine*
"APATHY IS DEATH!"
*Alex shoots straight out of his medical bed, the many different wires and cords attached to him to read lifesigns, bloodflow, and other such vital components are ripped off of him and he looks around wildly*
"Where am I?"
*The several nurses in the room jump back in surprise as the comatose patient that had just been having seizures no more than two minutes ago suddenly sits upright and is lucid. They rush over to him and begin checking him*
"You're aboard the Republic Orbital Medical Facility over Utapau, Master Jedi. Please stay calm, we're trying to help you."
*Alex looks at them all, thoroughly confused but then the memories of Mustafar and the train begin to come back to him. He nods his head and lays back - allowing the nurses and medical staff to do what they need to*

*Lara had said nothing during Leiah's talking. She didn't want to continue this arguement in Nahte's room. She just wanted to drop it. Atleast she was gone now, back to the ship. Lara didn't even care if she stole it, she'd just take the blame when Alex found out. She turned back to Nahte as he spoke.*
Sorry about that. People have differing views, and people disagree. And you'll find people in this universe don't hold Jedi with much regard.
*Lara nods her head back to the door that Leiah left out of. It was quite frustrating really. Lara didn't want fighting, she wanted peace. She didn't want death, she wanted life. She wanted to help, not destroy. Yet she knew Leiah was only the first of many that'd just throw her in with a bunch of different Jedi that had somehow wronged them somehow. Sometimes it wasn't the wrong they thought it was. Lara knew the Jedi weren't straightforward with their meanings, but the Order had it's good intentions. Often times the greater good could not be seen. Sometimes it was the shortsighted that had such a problem, but not always. Lara would just leave the thought behind for now. Right now time was better spent focused on the two patients here, Nahte and Alex.*
And to your question? Jedi, apparently.
=Nurse=
*Elsewhere.*
Patients here really must be more careful. It's dangerous to move around so aggressively or suddenly.
*The young blonde haired nurse with a coruscanti accent began reworking the mess Alex had made. She placed the IV back in his hand, after replacing the needle, cleaning the blood from the hand and numbing it of course. She then finished hooking him up to various instruments.*
There, all better. We'll be putting you in the same room as your friend shortly. I hear your other friends are already in there with him.
*The nurse had been told Alex had not arrived alone and that there was another patient here in the hospital that was in his party.*
But for now, we need to be sure nothing...strange happens...again.
*With that, the nurse let Alex be and wandered off to who knows what. Whatever it is that nurses do when they leave a room.*

*Lara sighs*
You will find many more in this galaxy like her that are willing to judge a Jedi like myself simply because of experience with others
*She manages a smile however.*
But thank you for the sentiment.
*When he asks about seeing Alex, Lara shrugs. She still didn't know where he was and she assumed they'd bring him in here where the nurses asked Lara and Leiah to wait with Nahte while Alex was being tended to.*
I will wait. Get some rest though.
*Lara moves from her current position and finds a seat near Nahte's bed. She then sits down and leans her head back to rest against the wall directly behind the chair. It had been pretty crazy getting to this point. Maybe some sleep wasn't a bad idea.*
=Meanwhile=
*Elsewhere in the medical facility another nurse comes in, different from the blondehaired one before. This one is a brunnette from Cinnigar descent.*
Everything's in order. We'll be moving you with your friends now.
*The nurse calls in the blonde haired nurse from before and the two of them take the hoverbed Alex is in and moves it out the room. They push it down a few hallways and after a few minutes, they open the door to Nahte's room where Nahte and Lara are both trying to sleep. They move Alex into the room, placing his hoverbed near Nahte's.*
There we go. Now the two of you will need to stay overnight and if you behave, you may get to leave tomorrow. No more ripping out cords and such and causing us nurses problems.
*The blonde haired nurse mock scolds both boys and winks to let them know she was just kidding around. The two nurses then leave the room, leaving Alex in the company of Nahte and Lara.*

*Alex is pushed into the room with Nahte and Lara in it and is relieved to see that they are both doing well. There were still blood soaked bandages around Alex's torso and forearms where his scars had opened up and started bleeding - they did not want to remove them yet as the wounds still needed the pressure to clot and heal. He also has several monitor cords attached to him - though the IV had been removed, as he had stabilized. Alex watches the nurses go and then nods to Lara*

"Oh no. Nothing like that. Serra would kill me."
*Alex leans his head back on the less-than-comfortable foam pillow. Lara probably didn't even know about Serra and him - few really did. Lee and Astefan were probably the only ones, and even they probably didn't realize the full extent of the relationship - though rocky as it was at times. Alex hopes Serra is doing alright with the twins - he hated leaving her there at the Academy with Vienna's kids... but duty called. They had made the agreement long ago that their relationship would not get in the way of their responsibilities and obligations to the Order - it was probably the smartest decision Alex had made in his career - and probably the only one Master Vrook would even begin to consider proper. Ah, crap... Vrook. They probably should have checked in with the Council after leaving Mustafar. Dammit.*

Serra? You mean the Jedi guardian who once had an epic food fight with Lee Katarn?
*How that bit of information ended up in the Jedi Archives of distinct Jedi battles, Lara would never figure out.*
You mean to tell me you two...? Oh dear.
*Lara couldn't believe this. Yet another Jedi relationship? Of the ones she knew of, only three were clearly distinct. Jacob Degan and Bastila Shan, Kavar and Lonna Vash, Lee Katarn and Monica Mark. Now Alexander Organa and Serra Keto?*
It seems the Order has become a dating service now.
*Lara's tone dripped of sarcasm. She didn't disapprove of Jedi relationships, but she knew the Jedi frowned on them. Lara never really had feelings for another, so she saw no need in finding a significant other. She was a Jedi afterall, and that way of life came before anything else. Sure, she gave Lex a kiss, but it held no passion in it, only sympathy.*
*She turned her attention from the line of thought when Alex asked if anything was going on. There was that confrontation between her and Leiah. Should she mention it? Might as well.*
Nothing to exciting. Only another heated arguement with our new arkanian friend.
*Lara was starting to wonder if she could handle being around her for much longer. With any luck, she could convince Alex to drop her off at the nearest Republic detention facility and continue about their business.*

*Alex rolls his eyes at Lara's assessment of the Order - though it wasn't far off. He doesn't bother correcting her about his and Serra's relationship being more than simple 'dating.' She didn't need to know. Not that he was hiding it or anything, of course. It just wasn't relevant. He raises an eyebrow at the mention of the "heated argument." That would be the second one in less than a day... hmm... he would have to talk to Lara about that soon. You wouldn't guess it from her outward appearance and personality, but he could sense a fire in her - a need to be right and prove herself. But it wasn't the place nor the time to discuss it. When Nahte speaks up, Alex just shrugs*
"Hey, it happens. You only killed one person, and I'm fine now. Minus being in a hospital that is. So all-in-all no harm done. Just... try not to do it again. Yeah?"
