Basic to Twi’leki, Rylothean, or Ryl Dictionary
*Note: Many of these words are official, but some have been made up by myself, after studying letter and sound patterns in already-existing Rylothean words. The words with an asterisk next to them are the ones I have invented myself. Note that some Rylothean words are repeated because they have two separate meanings. Grammar and language rules invented by myself to make the language more authentic can be found at the bottom of this post.

TWI’LEK CLANS:
---There were five original clans at the beginning of Ryloth’s history. All the members of one clan were the same color, and practiced worship to their goddess, Kika’Lekki, in the same way.---
Darian/Brown – Stone Twi’leks. Lived on the surface, worshiped by building great stone monuments.
Tolian/Orange – Fire Twi’leks. Lived underground. Used and mastered fire.
Tukian/Green – Spirit Twi’leks. Lived on the surface, practiced spiritual devotion, prayers, and ceremonies.
Rutian/Blue – Water Twi’leks. Lived underground. Used, appreciated, and mastered water.
Tyrian/Purple – Music Twi’leks. Lived in aboveworld caves. Worshipped with music, dance, song, and poetry.
*Lethan Twi’leks could be in any of the five clans – they are a rare occurrence, a genetic anomaly, like albinos in other species. They are highly prized as slaves due to their rarity.

Rylothean Grammar Rules
-If a word ends in with the letter "a," it should be joined to the word after it with an apostrophe. Often this is done for other vowels as well, but it is only a rule with the letter a.
Ex: The word "to" = "ya" and the word "be" = "kii." So instead of "ya kii," you would combine the words and write, "ya'kii."
-There are some exceptions to this rule, such as with the word "ryma," which is never combined to the word after it.
-This can often result in very long word combinations (ex: "toosa'xama'ael atuhlkaa'li"), making Rylothean very difficult to read for people who are new to the language.
-Descriptive adjectives come after the noun they are describing.
-Note that some words have two meanings. "Teeubo" means both "treasure" and "life." (This reflects the Twi'lek cultural belief that life should be treasured.)
-Note: Occasionally there are two words with one meaning. In this case, it is because one is more formal than the other. An example is the word, "is," which can be translated to both, "chir" (formal) and "aj" (informal).
