“Aye, Sir.”
The snooty Arkanian pilot nodded once and his pale hands flew over the control panel as he accepted the docking codes and readied the ship for docking. He really had no idea what this moronic Jedi had planned as he was not privy to about half of the relevant information involved with this scenario.
Then again, what could one really expect from lesser beings like these? Their first decision had been to dive into aggressive space rather than pursue their target—their target being the ENTIRE reason his lord and employer had granted them such accommodating resources—and now they were actively docking with the enemy who was seeking to arrest them.
Leth figured he shouldn’t be surprised. For all he knew, the Jedi were turning themselves over to the Republic and planning to leave him in the lurch in a Republic impound dock.
::Good luck::, Arca thought snidely. He’d likely have time to send off his latest report to Arkania before they docked with the Republic ship. And the Republic wouldn’t dare touch him; he was an official employee of Adascorp on an errand from Lord Adasca himself. Plus he was Arkanian.
The Republic would have to be bigger fools than he gave them credit for if they were dumb enough to mess with him.
Over the comm., Leth addressed the other ship.
::Sojourn, docking codes received. We are on approach vectors. Expect us in… two minutes.::

Alarmed by the intercommed message of a Republic ship dropping out of space near them, Taloombray didn't loiter long in the lounge, but instead followed Lee after a few minutes of tense quite. He approached the open cockpit of the ship just as the Arkanian pilot began a flurry of action over the controls after saying he was beginning docking procedure. The large ship—a Republic ship, he reminded himself—looming in the cockpit's front viewport ramped up the Wookiee's adrenaline.
<We're docking with them?! Aren't they trying to arrest you lot?>
If Lee's earlier actions—particularly talking civilly with the Trandoshan at the Arkanian docking port—hadn't been enough to make the Wookiee question the young human's mental wherewithal, flying into the belly of the beast took care of that worry with flying colors.
The large Republic ship's open hanger bay yawned like an open maw in the mind of the old soldier. He was not prepared to deal with the Republic so soon after his conscious decision to ignore an official Order. Admittedly, they wouldn't know him to be a defecting Republic member by the sight of him, but a retinal scan and a database check would show his alliances.
Taloombray could see it now. To add to the atrocious few days he'd just had, he'd be courtmartialed before his regained commission was a week old. What purpose would he have then? Mate dead, no position in the galactic world… he'd have to return to Kashyyyk and face whatever music might exist for him there.
With almost parental chiding, the Wookiee halted the onslaught of his mental concerns and reordered himself after a bit of effort.
<What is the plan?>

Taloombray was confused by most of what Lee said in explanation, having not been in the cockpit when Lee contacted the Republic ship. He also had no idea who Carth Onasi was — aside from a Republic big-wig apparently — nor of the aforementioned's connection to the Jedi. Lee's bit about "if we're all doomed I take full responsibility" didn't sit well with the Wookiee either. He'd been in past situations like that which hadn't worked out well for him, and if doomed meant death in this situation, his own honor and making peace with the spirits was his concern and no one else's. Still, lacking any better information — and still tending towards following directions — Taloombray fell in line and didn't ask any questions. Lee had told the rest of the occupants of the Arkanian Breeze to remain on the ship out of sight unless his interaction with the Republic troops didn't go as expected. Taloombray still thought him mad, but didn't begrudge some extra time to gear up for what might be a sticky conflict. He honestly didn't know what he'd do if it came to open conflict — could he really fight those wearing the uniform he (figuratively) wore for over two decades? — but his instinct of wanting to face uncertainties armed overrode preoccupation with potentials. It didn't take Taloombray long to get his armor on and his weapons sashed. He was soon loitering in the exit ramp just beyond of view of those outside. He could hear Lee's announcement of himself in the hanger bay where their ship now rested. By the sounds of it, the hanger must be huge, and there must be quite a contingent outside. ((Stated actions of other characters agreed upon between players))

*Tomias stands by on the Arkanian Breeze while Lee meets with the Republic troops in hope of meeting with Carth Onasi. After a bit Lee comms in saying that its clear to board and that he's with both now Master Bastila Shan and his old friend who is now a Knight, Josh. It's been a long time since he saw Josh but Tomias was a little hesitant about meeting with his friend again. After a bit Tomias shrugs it off and heads to exit the Arkanian Breeze.*
