"Yeah, I'm coming."
*Cedke left the cockpit and quickly followed Nov'an out if the ship.*

*Aramis starts from his sleep to find the ship empty and sitting in a hanger. The air is noticeably colder and his breath can be seen in misty bursts in front of his face. He quickly stand and wraps his robes closely around him and pulls his hood down to just above his eyes and steps out of the ship.*

*Leiah runs aboard the ship and hits the button for the boarding ramp. It closes up and she then types in a quick code to lock it from the inside. She then hurries to the cockpit, where she starts up the ship's maneuvering thrusters and engines. In less than a minute she has the ship preped and lifts off. Piloting it out of the Jedi Academy's hangar*
*The ship cruises into the Telosian atmosphere, away from the polar regions. Leiah brings up a holochart. She had the galaxy at her fingertips... well, sort of. The Jedi would be looking for this ship before long, and she was pretty sure she had seen a Republic fleet in orbit when she arrived. If they were smart they'd send the ship's ID to the fleet, and then catch her there. She wasn't about to give them that opportunity*
*She pilots the ship towards Citadel Station. She could probably find a captain or smuggler looking for a good pilot there, and then ship out with them. It was her best bet for now*
*The Furball flies through the towers of Citadel Station and then banks left and docks in one of the main hangars. She steps out of the cockpit and starts rummaging through the ship - taking anything she could find useful. A couple hundred credits, a pack, a few stims and medpacs. And a blaster pistol. Perfect. That was enough for now. She pockets the vile of cream the Jedi had given her, and heads out. She types in the code to unlock the ramp, and lowers it, then exits*

*Leiah pushes Jerex inside, closing the boarding ramp behind her and then runs to the cockpit, keeping her blaster with her she sits down in the pilot's seat and starts up the engines*
"I don't have time to run the preflight check, let's hope everything is in working order."
*She fires up the thrusters, still not with the engines to full power yet, and raises the ship up off the ground. Once they are clear of the hangar she punches the throttle and sends the ship flying into orbit. Several alarms go off as they approach the Republic Fleet in orbit*
"Kark me."

*Jerex lets Leiah take control of the ship while he looks around the back for something to open his binders. He finds a hydrospanner and takes it with him up to the co-pilot seat and sits down*
"She's good enough for the job at hand."
*He sets about un-cuffing himself as she takes them into orbit. He's managed to open one of the cuffs, but damages the other and locking it in place on his wrist as Leiah curses*
"Maybe later. Right now we need to get out of here."

*Leiah glares at him*
"I can still shoot you, you know."
*She goes over the tactical readouts*
"We've got a whole Republic Fleet up here. We better hope that TSF hasn't warned them about us."
*Leiah pushes the engines to their maximum, and heads toward the edge of the system. She then gets up from the seat and goes back to the navacomputer, entering in a series of coordinates and codes*
"This would be a lot easier with an Astromech Droid. There, that should do it."
*She walks back and sits down in the pilot's seat*
"Here goes nothing."
*She pushes forward a lever on the control board and stars become lines, and soon they are traveling through the swirling blue vortex of hyperspace. She sits back, relieved, then swivels her chair to face the man beside her, pointing the blaster pistol at him*
"Who are you and why did those men have you detained?"

*Jerex expected such an answer. He grins and sits in the copilot seat examining star charts. His last intel stated that the ship he wants was still around Corellia, but it could be long gone by now. His stint at Citadel has delayed him quite a bit* "I doubt it. You took them out first. And they didn't have time to report it."
*Jerex returns to the charts and pauses on Nar Shaddaa. One of the best places to get lost, but then continues flipping through the charts halfheartedly while he watches the Arkanian. He sees the telltale signs of recent injury. Most likely a torso wound* "You did well enough." ~I'm probably showing the signs too~
*He continues watching her as he's figuring that as soon as their 'safe' from both their pursuers, she'll want to confront him, and sure enough* "I am... I'm not sure anymore, but I was a Bounty Hunter, and they wanted me for my past..."
*Jerex looks up and out the window at the blue streaks of hyperspace travel* "So. Where is this ship headed?"

*Leiah looks at him for a moment, he didn't seem deceptive, but then again you could never tell with Bounty Hunters. TSF had considered him dangerous enough to lock him up*
"I'm headed to a safehouse. A place where the Jedi won't follow. Who were those men guarding you?"

*Jerex thinks to himself* ~She's a really untrusting one now isn't she. Guess I'll have to trade my life story to find out our destination~ "Republic Intelligence Agents. Don't worry, they'll probably blame me for that scuffle back there... What Planetary System and Galactic Sector?"

*Leiah mutters a foul word or two under her breath about Republic Intelligence Agents, then drops the weapon, but keeping it in her hand*
"That's for me to know, and for you to shut up about."
*She idly pushes buttons on the control panel*

~She's playing it close to the chest. Smart girl. Wonder if she encrypted her navdata yet?~ "Hmph. Then what are you running from? I want to know what may come after me because I hitched a ride with you."
*Jerex closes his search through the nav's stored destinations and looks for a new entry. Nothing pops up so its a system the ship's already been. He backtracks and pings the Hyperdrive for its current destination* *Computer Use Skill 18*

*Leiah doesn't answer right away but rather watches him* "You won't have any luck with that. I entered a seven digit passcode into the navicomputer. Only I can access it." *She watches him a bit longer, then decides to reply* "Well, let's see. I just shot two TSF officers and two Republic Intel officers. Not to mention I stole this ship from the Jedi base. That enough for you? Or do you want me to pull up my record?"

-The hyperdrive responds to the query properly and replies within the Navicomputer- ~Pure Pazaak. Now to...~ *Passcode required* ~Damn it. She did encode it~
*Jerex stares at the Arkanian for a bit* ~She can't seriously think I'm that dim. She was running from something before she even arrived there~ *He replies back a bit tersely* "Fine. Keep your secrets Arkanian."
*Jerex gets up and moves to go back to the aft section and lie down to nap, but he stiffens up and falls to one knee as he reaches the cockpit's door frame. His face shows the pain of recent injury* "Hsssss. Damn TSF. Uh."
*He stands slowly. Painfully*

*Leiah returns to her attention to the control panel as he gets up and tells her to keep her secrets*
"That's how I prefer it."
*When he returns she looks back momentarily, then back to the control panel*
"Meh, they're not much more than an annoyance. You should try going up against the Sith next time. I thought I saw a medpac back in the hold, help yourself."

"Heh. No, but they sure can re-injure wounds the Sith have already done. And there's three Medpacks should you need one later."
*Jerex stretches his bruised, newly healed injuries from facing off against Zerrec, and the Sith on Corellia, before finally leaving the cockpit. He slowly walks down the hallway and reaches the compartment the medpacks were stored in back when they left Coruscant. There's still three there. He takes one and begins to treat himself to ensure he hasn't killed himself by not seeing a proper physician after that Freighter Medic. It appears that he'll survive no worse for wear, but with new scars. Lastly, before laying down to sleep lightly, the engines always were comforting, he feels his face and the smooth dotted scars of the burns on his face from the metal-suited blue man*

*Jerex gradually looses consciousness to that aching exhaustion. He sleeps in the storage room restlessly. His mind never letting him rest peacefully these days; especially with his current aches and pain from his most recent injuries. Its several hours after he first falls asleep that he awakens. He remains still and checks to see if he can hear the Arkanian in the room, but it seems to be clear* ~Surprised that witch didn't try to off me yet~ *He gets up slowly and stretches his aching muscles and healed wounds to loosen them up while he makes his way up to the co-pilot's seat again*
"So. We there yet miss Secret Agent Woman."

*Leiah must have drifted into sleep temporarily, as she is startled by Jerex's entrance into the cabin and jumps slightly, instinctively turning her pistol on him. See that it is him, and that he is just sitting down in the co-pilot's seat she relaxes a bit, and lowers the weapon, before turning back to the gauges*
"Nearly."
*she holsters the blaster and then leans forward on the console, rubbing her eyes. This wasn't going as she expected or wanted*
"Listen, I...."
*She pauses, unsure of what she wanted to say*
"What exactly are you going to do now that Republic Intelligence is after you, Mr. no-name?"

*Jerex busies himself with checking the ship's systems and needs. It looked like it'd need a bit of hyperdrive tweaking, hull maintenance, and the standard refueling. At least a half day's worth of work*
"Jerex. My name's Jerex Vevner. Though I kind of like Talan for a last name." ~I'm really going to have to resume my old identity. Now more than ever~ "They've been after me for years, and its only cause I tried to turn over a new life that they even found me. Thought that Jedi would help me out with them; but he didn't."
*Jerex breaths a heavy sigh and relaxes back in the chair and puts his feet up on the console*
"As to what I'll do next. I've got to get some credits, track down some solid leads and support, and then kill the karkin' Sith Captain responsible for destroying my ship and killing my... Friend. And that all starts with where your taking us. Ms. Secret Agent Woman."

*Leiah grunts when Jerex says he thought the Jedi might help him*
"You can't trust the Jedi to do anything for anyone but themselves."
*she listens as he explains his plans*
"Okay, let's get things right here. I don't know where you came up with this "secret agent" shit, but that's not me. The name's Leiah. If you're gonna track down some Sith, count me in. One of them killed my captain and stole my ship, then had his minions shoot me after two weeks of torture. The way I see it, they have a lot coming to 'em."
*Leiah turns back to the console*
"We're entering the Arkanis sector. Coming out of Hyperspace."
*She types in a quick twelve digit code into the console, unlocking the navicomputer, then pulls back the lever, bringing the ship out of hyperspace and into orbit of a bright golden planet encircled by three moons. Off in the distance a set of binary stars can be seen*
"Welcome to Tatooine, Jerex."
*She starts piloting the ship down toward the surface*

*As Leiah gets upset at Jerex's nickname for her* "Just a cantina song I got playin' in my head." ~Secret agent man, secret agent man, They've given you a number and taken away your name, Beware of pretty faces that you find, A pretty face can hide an evil mind, Ah, be careful what you say, Or you'll give yourself away, Odds are you won't live to see tomorrow, Secret agent man, secret agent man, They've given you a number and taken away your name~
*He then listens to her reveal something of her past; thinking* ~She still has trust issues in regards to me to deal with first~
*Though he holds his tongue as she announces, two steps ahead of him, where exactly they are* "Nice. Credits are easy to come by here."

*Jerex ponders for a moment before continuing* "But I'm still working on what the best route to kill our respective Sith Officers would be. I was thinking that I'd get me some new gear, and then get hired by the Sith. They've always been quick to hire mercenaries. But do they know your face?."

*Leiah concentrates on landing the ship before responding. Once it is down safely in the Anchorhead docking bay, she turns to Jerex*
"Probably. But I doubt they're looking for me. They most likely think I'm dead. Not many people survive a point blank shot to the chest. Which reminds me, I need to find a new set of armor. That Sith wasted the one I was wearing."
*She stands up, keeping her pistol in hand, and walks to the back of the ship*
"I don't suppose you've got any credits to pay the docking fee, do you?"

"Nope, but I can deal with that. My prior business' contacts rapport are quite affluent in the Galaxy."
*Jerex follows her grabbing a comlink he spots in a half open cupboard, and cuffs the open half of the binders onto the same arm, making a sort of bracelet out of them*
